Victor Jason, coordinator of events at Glaston, gives his perspective on the program Step Change. How did the idea for the innovative Step Change program come about? The idea under this concept arose during GPD 2013 by Scott Thomsen, the former CEO of Guardian Industries. Thomsen noted that the entire glass industry had lagged in terms of innovation and saw the need to take an important step in this direction. The IT industry and many others are in a constant cycle of reinvention and change, but the glass industry has to catch up.
