Why do you want to be successful? Why do you want to be successful? What is success and what does a mindset for success actually entail? I realized that success has no scales, limits, charts, it is not measured in money, acquisitions, positions or names. Success is shaped by the mental clarity you have when you decide to do something meaningful. Having clarity of what you want to do and the path you want to follow is like a flashlight that helps you find exactly what you want in a warehouse full of many useful and useless things. If you want to be successful, put some order in your mind, remove everything that you do not use! A clear mind must be cleansed of the "mental ballast" that continues to gather over time, ballast that translates into the fear of starting something new, the fear of being judged, the fear of failure, the fear of losing a certain stability and safety etc. When I decided to pursue my own path in entrepreneurship, I thought it was clear to me what I wanted to do and which way I
should follow. But I realized that my vision was somewhat blurred, because I could not see clearly the next step and I felt trapped within my own limits, anxieties and multiple desires. I was the only obstacle in my path I had too many ideas, too many directions and I didn't realize why I stumble so often. This was the time when the universe gave me the hard lesson I needed. What was I doing wrong? First of all, I started many things at the same time, I didn't give them a chance to materialize and I wanted quick results. And secondly, I had chosen the wrong partners. Do’s and Dont’s when giving feedback Camelia Paduraru, Master Trainer NLP, Performance Coach and Founder CraftingMinds The ability to provide good feedback is a mark of a good leader, and the openness to receive feedback is a mark of a growth oriented mind set. Good feedback is vital in efficient learning and professional growth. Acquiring new competencies is massively accelerated when we get good feedback and we incorporate it quickly. Relationships breathe and evolve when we speak our minds effectively. The problem is that we don’t find easy to receive, nor to give feedback. When we receive feedback, we often tend to become defensive, to explain ourselves, to dissociate or force a smile while we grumble an absent yeah, I see after we’ve long left the experience. We do it to avoid discomfort and pain, especially when the one giving us feedback doesn’t demonstrate the most exquisite abilities. The problem, while we do this, is that also we protect ourselves against learning and the opportunity to better ourselves. When it comes to giving feedback, we either communicate it with negative emotions or in a way that’s perceived offensive, we either hold back because we’re afraid to hurt the other person or cause conflict, thus hiding our own fear of feeling hurt or rejected, and preferring to accumulate frustration and resentment instead. In this case, we block our authenticity, our leadership abilities, and the opportunity to catalyse other people’s growth. Giving good feedback is an art worth mastering not only in our professional endeav-
ours, but in every area of life. Everything we say, the way we say it, our words, our tonality, our facial expressions, our body language, and our intention have an incredible power when giving feedback, and in our communication in general. Let’s see some do’s and dont’s to help us along the way. 1. Right time, right place. Practice the state of presence so you are aware if the person is open to receive feedback. While praise can be well received and even desirable in public, areas of improvement are best to be communicated privately . 2. Feedback needs to be asked for and received, not imposed. Feedback works best when required by the person receiving it. If there is no habit of asking for feedback, then ask for permission. (Eg: May I give you a suggestion? I noticed a few things about the way you’re performing, would you like me to share them with you? Can I give you a piece of feedback?) Give them the chance to say yes, and they’ll be a lot more open to what you have to say. 3. Good feedback takes into account the needs of both the person giving it and the one receiving it. While feedback which is meant to help us vent can be justified in certain situations, it usually fails to be constructive or efficient. Especially true if doesn’t take into
account the other person’s feelings and therefore it tends to be destructive, reduce communication, and provide nothing useful to the other person. 4. Be sure to make the difference between feedback, criticism and value judgements. Good feedback does not label people based on their behaviours (Eg: you’re demotivated, you don’t care enough, you are chaotic), does not utilize universal quantifiers (Eg: you never…, you always…), and does not make value judgements (Eg: it is good/ not good to…). Good feedback focuses on what can be done to improve behaviours, performance, and results. It is expected that the person receiving it will do something about it.(Eg:It looks like your energy levels are not at their highest lately, let’s see what challenge would get you fired up again or It looks like you have a lot going on lately, is there anything we could do to help you organize your tasks?) 5. Use the feedback sandwich. Start with what they did good, then provide one or more areas of improvement, and end with an overall positive statement about the person you’re giving feedback to. Avoid the use of the word but and verbs in past tense. Use the word and and verbs in present or future tense. (Eg: I appreciate the fact that you’re very prompt in answering text messages, AND if I call you, it means that the issue needs to be addressed as quickly as possible. Please pick up the phone. Please return the call as soon as you can. It would make an important difference in our communication.) 6. Take into account the fact that any behaviour can be useful in a certain context. Provide them with the positive sides of the behaviour they’re doing, then give suggestions for improving it. (Eg: We appreciate your blunt way of speaking your mind because we know that with you, what we see is what we get. Just pay attention to your voice tonality because sometimes it can come across as rude, and we know that’s not your intention.)
7. Tell them what to do, not what not to do. Even if not immediately obvious, Please be here on time produces very different results than Stop being late. Tell them what to do. Example: I suggest that you realistically evaluate your capabilities and only say yes to what you know for sure you can accomplish instead of don’t take on responsibilities you’re not sure you can complete. 8. Be specific, not general. Being told that you were engaged or detached, irrational or cold, sensitive or insensitive in a certain context won’t be very helpful. These attributes are so general that while it’s so easy find truth in them, they don’t provide any practical application. (Eg: instead of saying Our communication needs improvement, say what about it specifically. I need you to spend time giving me more details when we’re starting a project, otherwise I won’t know how to proceed.) 9. Take responsibility for what you’re saying, don’t transfer it to other instances like others, the procedures, the organizational culture. 10. Communicate your feelings freely if appropriate, don’t mask them under layers of sarcasm, distortion or power games. (Eg: It frustrates me when I try to say something, and you finish my sentences instead of things like You’re trying to see how far you can go with this or You need to be even with the whole world.) 11. Be as neutral as possible from an emotional standpoint. This last one is easier said than done, I know. The good news is that now we have simple practical tools aimed to teach us how to be in charge of our emotions, our thinking, our words, our communication, and therefore our results. Explore #NLP! Meanwhile, contemplate this: “A person's success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have.” – Tim Ferris

Mihaela Stoica: Entrepreneurs are said to be their own masters and to be completely independent. Accompanied by such an image I entered the world of entrepreneurship, but no one told me that it is just a myth ... Now I know that I have a responsibility in front of customers, suppliers, payment terms, employees who put their hopes in we, the family who also has its own set of requirements outside the business, the community. I know when it's time to say NO and when it's time for a break, a vacation or just relaxing in nature or at home, time spent with what brings me a sense of well-being and relaxation. EBW: What motivates you? What inspires you? Mihaela Stoica: Family! People! Success! When you see that the family encourages you and is with you, when the people you interact with radiate the happiness you bring into their life or are satisfied with the relationship you have, they are reconciled and bring that well-being, inspiration and motivation to move on. And when I do not give up and the successes appear, it is certainly a validation that if you do with passion what you do the results come and the degree of motivation increases. EBW: What books would you recommend to a young entrepreneur? Mihaela S.: It is very difficult for me to recommend just a few books, because I am a "massive" reader and I have entire libraries of books ... I would still recommend Zig Ziglar, John Maxwell, Napoleon Hill, Brian Tracy. EBW: Who was your first mentor and what did you learn from it? But the latest? Mihaela S .: In my early days as an entrepreneur, I was not the mentor, but when it developed, my first methods were those of the John Maxwell Team International Chair, to which we always called for guidance and from which I really learned. what leadership means.

Currently I am in charge of developing a beauty salon in Cluj Napoca. What caused me to enter the world of entrepreneurship? As a child I had a more introverted personality, which made me have a conservative spirit but also an observant leader who has something to offer the world. The inclination towards entrepreneurship was certainly instilled by my mother for the first time. It is the first landmark that we had as an unlimited source of inspiration and love. In case of waste which can be dangerous because of the origin or the composition, it is mandatory to conduct certificates of analysis and to mention their characteristics

THE SAFETY WORK SYSTEM
Often neglected or overlooked by companies, the health and safety activities come into notice only when a control or, worse, an accident occurs. Unfortunately, the controls may have a negative impact, as financial penalties, if the safe system of work is not updated or complete, but the accidents have much more serious consequences and may sometimes lead to hospitalization or tragic fatalities. That is why I would like to present to you today what the safety system of work entails. The safety system of work is a set of procedures and measures that, by putting them into practice, creates a safe workplace for employees, contractors and third parties (visitors, authorities or members of the public). It consists of the following procedures, adapted according to the specific of the workplace. In this case I have included those procedures for activities in productive or construction fields, not just office: 1. Procedure for permit to work system. 2. Working procedures for simultaneous operations (SIMOPS). 3. Working at height procedures. 4. Procedures for lifting operations. 5. Procedures for using the personal protective equipment. 6. Procedures for traffic control on locations (pedestrian and car). 7. Access control procedures. 8. Procedure for controlling the contractor’s activities on locations. Besides these procedures, others should be developed depending on the nature of the activities carried out within the business units. Any company carrying on complex activities (production, construction, material processing, etc.) has to implement this set of procedures according to the specific activities. But for the proper implementation of these procedures, as in any area where we want performance, training is needed. This can be achieved by involving the managers of the companies and the work place managers in a training process for the implementation of the safe system of work. Also the employees directly involved in the work activities will be engaged, being helped to implement and improve the safe system of work.
All problems / misunderstandings / needs that arise during the implementation process will be discussed and solved together with the management team and the employees' representatives. This system once implemented does not mean that it is frozen. As the staff is in a permanent fluctuation or the activities change as the company develops, the system must be updated periodically. This is done through regular audits, to be able to verify the way it is used and to determine the existence of gaps between the provisions of the procedures and their implementation depending on the present situation. The purpose of implementing this system is very important, as mentioned at the beginning. It is not just a formality. It may seem so to many people, but the implications are major, even vital: reducing the number of incidents / accidents and dangerous situations created in the workplace by partially eliminating the risks existing at the workplace or implementing measures to reduce the probability of their occurrence. On the other hand, it is necessary to ensure that the business develops in security conditions, namely you have to take into account risks, to take care of the portfolio of clients, of the relationship with your partners, to follow the macro-level trends in the economy and the industry in which you operate or from the industries you are related to (e.g.: FMCG and transport). Last but not least, you watch out for money: namely, to have sufficient working capital when the estimated increases are not becoming a reality or when the estimates are exceeded. In this context, we propose to identify together the manner in which the implementation and monitoring of the budget can help you. The budget has two components: P&L (Revenue and Expenditure) and Cash Flow, which must be built in parallel, in a correlated manner.
