Scenario User: Jasmin Age: 20 Career: Studying Fashion Design Economy: Writes for a fashion blog, here she also puts together jewellery pieces which she takes pictures of and posts on the blog. Interests: Jewellery, fashion, blogging, watching fashion shows on television Job: To create a cabinet for storage of jewellery and a build in workspace. Design Problem: Jasmin needs to shorten her preparation time for taking pictures of her jewellery for her blog and she needs a workspace for blogging. All this have to be functional in one cabinet. Jasmin lives in a student size apartment and has limited amount of space. Function: A multifunctional furniture. Where it will be easy for Jasmin to keep her jewellery organised so she has a clear overview of what jewellery she has to work with. It will also be a place where Jasmin can sit with her computer and post on her blog. Jasmin also required a television so she could easily work with her photos and watch her fashion shows. The cabinet will be in use all times of the day. Program: We have designed a cabinet that measures 2 meter by 2 meter and carries a dept of 80 cm at its deepest and 60 cm at its smallest. Most of the cabinet is dedicated to the placement of the jewellery and mirror space and around 1/3 of the cabinet is a workspace area. We have made a build-in chair and a slide-in table that can be pushed back when the television is in use and the workspace is not.
