Light is the essential element in which all the processes of consciousness are enabled. Experiencing light, awareness and appreciation of it in day to day life will lead to “better city, better life”. Light is the theme element of this pavilion, the pretext of the

The simple box, floats five meters above the ground, providing an impressive, bipolar light show, day and night, inside and outside. A simple perimeter bridge facilitates visitors flow, allowing for a 360 view of the natural spectacle.
Space underneath the box is “open minded�, focusing areas of high convertibility, around a recreational, coffee shop area. The perfection of the box is interrupted only by the roof top, designed to direct and focus light, to the heart of the pavilion.
Urban Business Hotel ***** An urban luxury hotel, situated in an important business area of Bucharest
Located in the very heart of Bucharest, in an area of chaotic development, the proposal for a business hotel, is linked to the need for urban planning, de-cluttering of the area. The position of the site proposed for intervention is favorable for creating an opening in the cluttered urban mass.

Observation of human behavior in the studied area, is revealing its main attribute: crossing area. A very busy, undersized, traffic arthera, combined with an intense flow of pedestrian, using undersized
sidewalks, completes the image of chaos.
The building is essentially a spiral designed to offer a maximum of space, and interesting views inside, and also a large, partly covered public space outside. The large overhangs of the top floors, consist of large,

luxurious, apartments linked to a generous patio. The building perfectly completes the urbanskape,and integrates with the surroundings, while offering as much space, as possible for the crossing pedestrian.
Multifunctional insertion in historical site Preliminary analisys and concept for an intertion in a cluttered and historical site
The project requirement is actually an extension of an historical building, the “Stirbei” palace, located in an historic area, near Victoria Avenue, a major commercial and cultural artery, the one that Bucharest gets its name of “Little Paris” from. The insertion of a building in this site comes with a grate responsibility of improving and revitalizing the surroundings in more than the visual ways.

provides the necessary cornice height, leaving the ground space opened for the view and pedestrians to pass.

The interesting asset of this building is it’s functional layout. The required floor area to large to be provided by the over-ground floors only, so that more than 50% of the total area of the building is held in the underground. The functional layout consists form: an apartment building for 200, high class apartments,

the department of design of the Visual Arts university, two underground floors planned for offices, all linked together by an underground floor of commercial facilities, and an underground opened urban piazza.

The site chosen for construction of the office tower is suitable for placement of an item that will become a landmark, a symbol of the developing economy, and of the global metropolis that Bucharest will become .

The idea was to emphases the symbol of unity, by closely linking together two towers, grown from a base of tectonic form glass and concrete. The facade is the exact expression of the structural stability
of the two towers, reaffirming the idea of unity. The extra space obtained at the linked levels is used as recreational space, or where possible, arranged as conference rooms.

Romania’s stock exchange Revitalization of an abandoned industrial site in the central area of Bucharest
The area of “Dambovita’s” side banks, is a very debated urban planning issue of Bucharest. On a large abandoned industrial site, the analysis revealed the opportunity, of creating an urban pole of business facilities. The stock exchange program offers the grate importance and representation, needed to trigger the business development.

The stock market is composed around an elliptical, urban piazza, consisting of a ring of facilities available for public access, and orthogonal blocks of restricted access disposed on the first ring in a .
radial manner. The ensemble contains a large pallette of public facilities, aimed to attract the public, and become a pole of urban life as well.
