Development

I further developed my idea of the Burton inspired typeface, I used a thin stroke which I believe communicates an uneasy atmosphere, the ends of the letters are pointed on most.

In this typeface I tried to use shadow and negative space, I used a thinner line an the top of the letters and thicker towards the bottom left. I will work more on improving the G and S as I was not satisfied with how they turned out.

This is my initial after looking at superflat, I tried to create something that would fit in well with the forms used in the art as I’ve used a thick black stroke and also I would probably experiment with some bright colours.

With this font I combined elements of my previous initials, I combined the shape I created with the Superflat initial and the striped from one of the Burton inspired initials.
