About the Jamboree

The Pedaler's Jamboree is a music festival for bicycle riders and non-riders alike!

Start your adventure at Flat Branch Park from 7:30 am to 10 am. Flat Branch Park (101 South 4th St, Columbia, MO) is the beginning of the MKT trail which connects to the Katy Trail State Park.

Drop off your overnight packs at check-in & prepare for a weekend of relaxed bike riding, music, & fun. Enjoy the scenic views of the Katy Trail State Park as you ride on crushed limestone trails flanked by cliffs & the Missouri River. Stop at your convenience to enjoy live music & refreshments throughout the day in communities along the trail.

The final destination, Boonville's Kemper Park, will host the main stage music. Camping at Kemper Park is free for all registered riders. Hotels/motels are also available. There will be plenty of food vendors at Kemper Park. On Sunday food & entertainment await you on your journey! Overnight bags will be waiting for you at Flat Branch Park in Columbia!

Bicycle riders, please ride safely & follow the rules of the trail. Please put litter in its place & respect the Katy Trail State Park and private property along the trail so that we can continue this event in the future. Enjoy the ride!

How to Prepare

The Pedaler’s Jamboree is both a relaxing and challenging holiday retreat. We encourage everyone to get some fun training miles in on the bicycle leading up to the Jamboree! The more time that you spend on the bicycle now, the better that your body will feel on a bike when the event arrives!

Registered riders will receive the following items in the Pedaler’s Jamboree Rider Packet: bicycle tour wristband (will get you into Kemper Park and all trailside music venues),voucher for baggage transport, Jamboree luggage tag and more. Late and day-of registrants will be able to get these items at check in the morning of the ride. Please contact us if you are missing any of these items.

Where to Park

There is plenty of weekend parking available near the start. The best bet is to park your car in the City of Columbia parking garages (Cherry and 6th St is the best) as it is free on Saturday and Sunday.

Parking meters are not free on Saturday!

You may drop off your bags at Flat Branch Park and then park your car if that is easiest for you.

There are countless lodging opportunities available in Columbia! The Broadway Hilton Hotel and the Tiger Hotel in downtown Columbia are near to the start!

Begin the Ride

The ride starts at Flat Branch Park (101 South 4th St, Columbia, MO) from 7:30 am - 10 am.

Flat Branch Park is the beginning of the MKT trail which connects to the Katy Trail State Park.

Pre-registered riders can bring their overnight bags to the bag drop-off locations at Flat Branch Park Saturday morning. Each rider is limited to 2 bags and no coolers will be allowed for transport on the shuttle service (special exceptions can be made for food allergy concerns and dehydration).

Bags will be transported and waiting for you at Kemper Park in Boonville on Saturday.

Late and day-of registered riders will need to check in a Flat Branch Park on Saturday morning to get their registrations materials before they depart for the weekend adventure.

Luggage Drops

Luggage should be tagged with participant’s name and phone number. On Saturday, bags must be dropped off at Flat Branch Park or at the entrance to the city parking garages recommended on page six by 10 am and will be available for pick up at Kemper Park after 3 pm.

On Sunday, bags must be dropped off at the Kemper Park Baggage Drop-Off Zone by 10 am. Bags will be available for pick up on Sunday at Flat Branch Park starting at 12 pm (available until 5 pm).

If we all practice common sense & common courtesy, everyone can have a fun and safe experience.

In Case of Trail Closure

In the case of flooding there may be a section of trail on the Katy Trail that may be closed to flooding. In the case of this occurance we are posting the detour route around the closed trail below. If we get an update of a trail closure we will post it on the event APP.

On Saturday from Columbia to Boonville DETOUR AT ROCHEPORTHwy 40 is under construction - New Detour for 2023 The only viable detour is,from the Rocheport Trailhead, take the Katy Trail to Central Street (.2 mile). Turn right onto Central St. Central St. becomes MO Hwy. 240 Spur (.1 mile). Take Hwy. 240 Spur to Hwy. 40 (1.0 mile). Turn left onto Hwy. 40. Turn right on MO 435 (1 mile). Follow signs. Road is gravel with minimal hills. (5 miles) 435 tuns into 442. Follow 442 until it ends. Turn left on 467. Follow til it connects to the Katy Trail. Turn right and continue to Franklin!

On Sunday from Boonville to Columbia DETOUR BEFORE ROCHEPORT

On MO 467 (at the old grain mill spot on the trail) - Turn leftand ride .5 miles. Turn right on 442. Ride 5 miles)442 will become 435. Turn left on Hwy 40 and ride for 1 mile. Continue on Hwy. 40 for approximately 3 miles. Take a right onto the Hwy 240 Spur continue approximately 1-mile, Hwy. 240 Spur turns into Central St. Continue 3 blocks on Central St to the Katy Trail. Take a left onto the Katy Trail to go to the Rocheport Trailhead.

Sag & Bus Support

Registered riders can catch a sag ride to Boonville along the route on Saturday or back to Columbia on Sunday. Look for the white shuttle van parked near the action at the pick up zones. For emergency support call - (573) 222-0261

Free Shuttle Service to Boonville Hotels

A shuttle service will leave Kemper Park at the start of every hour starting at 4 pm and ending at 11 pm on Saturday. Participants staying at Boonville hotels must retrieve their overnight bags at Kemper prior to getting a ride. The vehicle will pick up participants from hotels on Sunday morning from 7 am til 9 am and drop them off at Kemper Park.

Bike Check Service

Participants getting shuttled to hotels or any rider that would like to have their bike securely checked for the duration of Saturday night may have their bike stored at our bike check station at Kemper Park. The service costs $5 and will operate under a ticket retrieval system.

Shuttle from Boonville to Columbia

For those riders who are unable to complete the ride back on Sunday, a shuttle service is available. Meet at the baggage drop off area at 7:45 am, 9 am & 10:15 am to get a ride back to Columbia. Advanced reservations can be made on-line for $15 or on-site for $15 (space permitting).

The New Respects

The 2022 Levitt National Tour presents rising stars and family affair The New Respects, for an electrifying evening of danceable fusions of pop, soul and rock & roll. The band is turning heads with their bright, feel-good tracks stacked with propulsive beats and lush harmonies. Hailing from Nashville, Zandy Mowry lays down the group’s funk-inspired grooves on guitar, her brother Darius Fitzgerald drives the beat with his retro rhythms and their cousin Jasmine Mullen brings it all together with soaring lead vocals. Having performed together since their youth, the 20-something trio uplifts audiences with their playful, energetic and familiar vibe. Coming straight out of the Ozarks in southern Missouri, Ha Ha Tonka specialize in wide open, effortless anthems that owe as much to high and lonesome Ozarks mountain music as straight up rock‘n’roll. Over their history, Ha Ha Tonka has recorded 5 critically acclaimed albums, toured the world, played Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits, appeared on late-night TV on CONAN as well as on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. Through it all, these Ozarks natives have made friends, found love, started families, and grown and matured together. That1Guy

With an extensive and amazing track record of unique and imaginative performances featuring his curious instrument and copious amounts of originality, Mike Silverman, a/k/a That1Guy, has set himself apart as a true one-of-a-kind talent that rivals any other artist currently in the entertainment industry.

Averaging 150-200 shows a year all over North America and Canada. He was also the ʻTap Water Award’ winner at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for best musical act. His legendary collaboration and multiple tours with Buckethead performing as The Frankenstein Brothers has further cemented his virtuoso story as a creative visionary.

Richard Young, from The Kentucky Headhunters, says The Comancheros are “ZZ Top goes Star Wars.” The Comancheros are known for bringing to the stage some of the highest energy performances in the business.

It’s always great to look back on good times but it is even more important to remember that we are continually living them!
