About Mike Fox Photography Welcome to Mike Fox Photography. I’m Mike Fox, and this is my wife Angi. We work together to create a fun senior photography experience and create great portraits that capture who you are. I am a software developer by day, and Angi teaches kindergarten, but the job we love the most is being the parents of three children. We have two kids in college, and one who is a sophomore at Dawson High School. We have been taking Senior Portraits since 2011, when we got started photographing a family friend. We believe that this is an important milestone in your life, and it deserves more than a 5 minute photo session after waiting in a long line with everyone else. It’s important to us to create portraits that reflect who you are, that show something besides the same old “school picture smile”.

Hi, Thank you so much for your interest in our Senior model program. I think this year will be our best model program ever, and Angi and I are looking forward to working with all of our models. Our Senior models are the face of our business and the voice of our business on social media and inside the schools. As a Senior model you will get to participate in shoots that aren’t available to our regular clients, as well as many other perks. Senior Models What is a senior model? As a Senior Model for Mike Fox Photography, you are our spokesmodel to your classmates. You are our cover model and social media voice to reach seniors. If you are selected as part of our Senior Model team, you will take part in several model sessions, and spread the word about Mike Fox Photography. You will be featured in future versions of this Seniors magazine. Think of this as a commissioned sales job. It will look great on college applications.
Why be a senior model? • Earn over $1300 worth of bonuses. Referrals and marketing activities earn points towards free sessions and products that save your parents money, and earn CASH for you! • Earn a chance at a scholarship opportunity • Take part in our model shoots • Earn your personal Senior session, including a professional makeup artist • Be included in our Senior magazine • Get a free IPhone/Android app of the model sessions • Get a model team t shirt and lanyard
Rewards We do our rewards on a point system, so that we can reward big activities, like referring friends who book with us, and smaller activities, like sharing our social media posts.
1 referral = one booked and paid session = 100 points

Personal Model Session (On location or in studio session with makeup artist)
200-400 points
$25 cash at 200, 300, and 400 points
500 points
$450 print credit (equivalent to our Silver Package)
600-900 points
$50 cash at 600, 700, 800, and 900 points
1000 points
additional $300 print credit
every additional 100 points
$75 cash
1500 points
additional $300 print credit (equivalent to our Gold Package)
Every senior model earning over 500 points will be entered into a drawing for a $750 scholarship.
Bonus Points In addition to awarding points for referrals, we have a system of bonus points rewarded for various activities which help get the word out about Mike Fox Photography. The list will be available at the kickoff meeting. This list will be be updated as the year goes on, with additional tasks/points. Examples of bonus point activities: • Write a post sharing your excitement at being chosen as part of our Model Team • Take a behind the scenes photo during the model sessions and post on instagram • Sharing a Facebook post from Mike Fox Photography - Seniors page • Regramming @MikeFoxPhotography Senior related Instagram post • Posting a selfie from a school event in your model team t shirt
Remember to show your excitement when posting to your followers. Your enthusiasm will be contagious, leading to more referrals (and rewards) for you.
All Facebook posts must tag Mike Fox Photography. To tag a business page, you must “like” that page first. Then you should be able to type @Mike Fox Photography - Seniorsto tag the page. All Instagram posts must tag @MikeFoxPhotography and use the hastag #MFPSeniors2016. A maximum of 400 bonus points can be earned.
Expectations of a Senior model Things to do • Use an image from the group shoots or your individual shoot as your social media profile picture for your senior year • Represent Mike Fox Photography in a positive manner online and offline. Do social media posts and write about your shoot and our business
Things to avoid • Altering our images in any way #nofilters • Sharing images without proper credit (please tag and include a link to our website) • Model for another photographer or have senior pictures taken by another photographer senior year (Yearbook, team photos, family photos, etc are all right). Promote any other photography business.
Senior models are required to attend a Senior model meeting at the beginning of the year, and attend at least 1 large group shoot. Attendance at additional meetings and events that may be planned throughout the year is optional. Aside from showing up and having fun at the meeting, and group shoots, Senior models are expected to have their individual Senior Portraits taken by Mike Fox Photography, and are not allowed to have additional Senior Portraits taken by any other photographer. If a Senior model violates this rule or promotes another photography business, they will be dropped from the program and forfeit any accrued rewards. In addition, Senior models are required to use images by Mike Fox Photography as their Facebook and Instagram profile pictures during their Senior Year.
Frequently asked Questions I’ve never modeled? Can I still be a Senior model? Of course. Some Senior models may have previous modeling experience but most do not.
What do you look for in a Senior model? We look for Models who are‌ outgoing and fun. involved in their school and community. motivated to succeed
Will this cost anything? The $75 participation fee covers the large group shoots, including the hair and makeup artists, and any additional events we may have. This fee is used to cover the cost of a Model Team tshirt, provide locations and props for the group sessions and other miscellaneous costs of the program. This fee allows us to really step up the level of the group shoots. This fee is about half of what the normal session fee would be for a Senior session, and with your first referral you will earn a Model session worth at least $225.
