Because East Carolina University is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina, tuition and fees for the fall and spring semesters of each year are determined in part by the preceding session of the North Carolina General Assembly. Because this publication was prepared prior to the completion of the legislative session, the above costs are estimated rather than exact figures. Projections can be made on a 3 percent per year increase in total cost.
