working-class neighborhood dating back to the 1830s, McKinley Park was forged by industry, with dozens of businesses moving to the area after the Chicago Fire of 1871.
Like the industrial businesses that flocked here in the past, Chicagoans are discovering it’s a great place to build their futures with moderately priced single-family homes and a convenient location with two CTA Orange Line stops. The 69-acre McKinley Park offers residents recreational facilities including a field house, baseball diamonds, a lagoon and ice-skating rink.
