CONCEPT OF LIGAYA COLLECTION Love Seat and Side Table
The furniture came from the combination of the “Double Happiness” sign used during Chinese wedding or locally termed as “Ting Hun” together with the Chinese horseshoe chair and Filipino Kapiya chair. Other details incorporated are the caning at the back of the chair, which is usually seen in Filipino furniture and the salungpuwit seat design, which literally means catching butt, that would make the chair more comfortable to seat into.
Love Seat The direct inspired from the Chinese character of “Double Happiness� and the combination style of Chinese Horseshoe back chair and Kapiya chair.
Side Table/ Tray This side table accompanies the love seat. The table top can be detachable and turn into a tray if needed, and the curve legs accommodates the seat height of the love seat, so it can be also place directly infront of the love seat.
