Guidelines Regarding the prizes on offer as part of the project “By the seaside on the snow: Riccione in Fiemme Valley” to be held during the
Marcialonga 25th – 26th January 2014
1. The project: “By the seaside on the snow: Riccione in Fiemme Valley” 1.1
“By the seaside on the snow: Riccione in Fiemme Valley” is an initiative organized by Promhotels, the Hoteliers’ Cooperative of Riccione, and Costa Hotels Consortium in collaboration with the Riccione Municipality and the Baths’s Cooperative of Riccione on occasion of “Marcialonga 41st edition”, that will take place on the 25th and 26th January 2014. The aims are: Promoting the territories and excellences of Riccione and its inland during an important and international sports event that attracts over 10.000 visitors (including athletes and tourists) from north Europe. Attracting the attention of the public on our tourist product by focusing on the very same themes as the sports event: fun, competition, socialization. “Sharing” the spirit and atmosphere of “Marcialonga” and therefore, amplifying the promotion and visibility obtained through a web 2.0 action on social networks, to be carried out in real time.

During “Marcialonga”, the Tesero municipality will play host to a packed programme of entertainment initiatives for tourists and athletes. These initiatives will include one aimed at focusing on and the Riccione destination and its inland, highlighting its attractions. A photo-contest on the theme “By the seaside on the snow” will be set up close to the Skiing Center of Tesero, together with the other tourism promotion activities. After first signing a release note to authorize publication of the photo on all the web media managed by the Riccione Municipality and other subjects that deal with tourism promotion, the public will be invited to have their photograph taken in this setting.
