Milan Chakrabarty, MD, earned his medical degree (M.B.B.S.) from Grand Medical School College, Mumbai University, and completed an internship at J.J. Group of Hospitals, also part of Mumbai University. He continued his medical training with a residency at St. George Hospital in Mumbai and further specialized through rotations at G.T. Hospital in the same city. After training in India, he moved to England, where he worked in Internal Medicine at Mount Pleasant Hospital, Cardiff University, for three years.
