Adler's is proud to present this officially licensed collection of giclĂŠe canvas art by Louisiana native Clementine Hunter (1886-1988). Clementine Hunter is considered one of the most important self-taught artists of the 20th century, and her works can be seen in museums and private collections around the world, including the Smithsonian Institution, The Museum of American Folk Art, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. With no formal training, Hunter produced colorful paintings from her memory that captured life on Melrose Plantation, located in Natchitoches Parish. Together, these paintings weave a nostalgic, first-person narrative of plantation life in the early South. A portion of the proceeds goes back to the Melrose Plantation.
