How fitting that a Portuguese immigrant of humble beginnings has reached a stage in her service to society deserving of our respect and our gratitude for endeavouring to not settle. Universities have difficult tasks ahead in educating a new breed of students in transformative times where AI and social media will affect who they become. It will take visionary educators to transform the next generation to be the catalyst for a better world.
