Dan Keplinger Artist Dan Keplinger was featured in the Oscar-winning documentary short, King Gimp. Born with cerebral palsy, he lives in Towson, Maryland, where he continues to paint.

Jesse Magee Acoustic Performance with an amazing 4+ octave vocal range. Jesse is the lead singer and songwriter of rock band Leftstronger, despite his personal challenges of being legally blind and having cerebral palsy on his right side. His talent speaks for itself and nothing will stand in his way of his success and being a role model for others.

New Horizons Performing at 1:30 & 2:30. The Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts partners with Howard County Hospital to bring teens and adults together every Friday evening to enjoy improvisation, music and the joy that theatre can bring into an individual’s life. Caring Communities is pleased to welcome you to our 10th Annual World of Possibilities Expo, the most anticipated disabilities event of its kind in the region!

Caring Communities is delighted to bring you this very exciting disabilities, caregiver event, a consumer exposition that is offered to the public in Rockville, MD. World of Possibilities Expo is dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities, all seniors, their families and caregivers, as well as health care and education professionals.

This Expo will provide an opportunity for attendees to explore a vast array of products and services such as: assistive and adaptive technology, durable medical equipment, computer software, senior services, mobility products, living aids and more all conveniently displayed to see, touch, and compare in a "one-stop shopping" experience. This will give individuals who do not typically have easy access to comparison shopping a hands-on opportunity to try devices and speak directly to equipment representatives about the products and services. World of Possibilities will also offer informative demonstrations, and representatives from local and statewide agencies/ organizations to assist the disabilities and senior communities in gaining more information about supports, services and resources that they may need now or in the future.

Caring Communities, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which offers disability-related training, education, publications, and events for the benefit of children and adults with disabili-

ties, their families and caregivers, as well as healthcare and education professionals. Our efforts will enhance the quality of life regardless of the nature or severity of the disability; empower individuals with disabilities to achieve economic self-sufficiency and independent living and; promote inclusion to enjoy full participation in society.

Caring Communities has now grown into a well known and widely respected service organization offering disabilityrelated activities and events for thousands within the entire disabilities and senior communities in Maryland. Caring Communities and the World of Possibilities Expo connect so many of our neighbors to vital services and information. Thanks to the efforts of so many caring parents, care providers and volunteers, over 400 people have been trained to provide essential respite care services to Maryland families through the Caring Network.

As we work towards a better, stronger Maryland, we have tremendous progress on which to build. We have taken action on important initiatives to empower our neighbors and improve our quality of life.
