For all we bikers, Motorcycling is indeed a Therapy. Therapy that lets you distress your mind and at the same time lets your soul set free and detached from the reality of life. We very often have certain special places in our hearts where we feel liberated and experience a different euphoria altogether However, these are two disparate emotional dimensional aspect of life that we are trying to fabricate here. But what could be more exciting than fusing these two strong feelings which has some real significant effect on our soul ? Interesting Right ?

Having my roots near the coastal area, I have always been fascinated by the waves of the sea. The sacred transit feelings that the blue water transmits always dragged me toward the coast. It always sets my soul free, liberated, enlightened and mesmerized. However, this tropical tranquil blue sea manifests me with never ending zeal , that frequently pushes my soul to do things at altogether a different level .Knitting my tropical tranquil idea into designing the Royal Enfield BYOL, was an evolution and nostalgia of my deep rooted thoughts and to see it taking shape is like a dream come true.
This dream of mine, started creating visuals in my mind leading to various propositions. The concept of motorcycling being the meditation for me was the inflexible core of the fabrication. To meditate we might often eliminate a one sense for gearing up the other. To amalgamate my dream and thoughts into a concrete model I decided to add more life and visuals to it by Integrating it with the auditory perception. The summation of audio and video always adds life to the process of designing I have hereby created and utilized the audio track of Royal Enfield Meteor sound which adds the powerful ambience to the atmosphere and ofcourse the ambience which is an integral part of my dream. To begin my design with, I had a few elements in the visual of my mind. I have stated below the examples of the same. The idea of the design of the bike was fabricated in such a way that it shows the reflection of my dream.

In the design process, I sharpened my dream visual by keeping in mind the cruiser language. Here I find out some elements from the motorcycle to be retouched
Basic ergonomics and proportion sketch to create silhouette of the motorcycle.
The Rider Tringle
Post setting up the idea of the cruiser motorcycle rider triangle, the arc was introduced in my sketch to determine the wheel potions and axis point, this helped me in setting the shape and length of the motorcycle with regards to the other proportions. Later the elements which were derived from the visual of my mind comes gradually into the picture. Wave, which represents the dynamic nature of the shape which was manifested in the motorcycle's front fairing, for the bike to have the dynamic character. Moreover, the visual weight of the wheels has been increased such that the motorcycle looks firm and steady on the road. The vision was the machine should not run rather "Sail" smoothly on the road.
Introducing Royal Enfield Sensei
The exterior of the bike has again been inspired by the tropical tranquil dream which is reflected and implemented on the color palette of the motorcycle.
The tropical blue represents the infinite calm that we sense from the tropical water, with the integration of copper finish representing the sand of the seashore.
Here I have tried to re-establish the connection between reality and dream, such that the bike speaks and translates the dream of an individual.
The metallic color from the tropical color palette has been carried forward into the minute details of the engine. The polished lines of the heat sink and the nuts of the engine have been coated with the same earthy shiny copper finish to amalgamate with the overall color palette.
As the dreamy concept is always the core and keeps on running in the back of my mind, the design reflects movement, dynamism, and flexibility. The front fairing design represents the wave of the ocean, similar to the curvilinear dynamic shape is given to the exhaust to make it look more flexible.
The rugged language of Royal Enfield has been kept intact by adding elements from the unbreakable Himalayan. The Himalayan tail-light has been added to add the touch and sense of trust and reliability. The off-road tire is an integral part of the motorcycle to increase its capability to win the different terrain and soil conditions. and soil condition sea can give it to us.
