REGENERATION â?– Definition: The process of renewal, restoration, and growth that makes genomes, cells, organisms, and ecosystems resilient to natural fluctuations or events that cause disturbance or damage. Every species is capable of regeneration, from bacteria to humans. Regeneration can either be complete where the new tissue is the same as the lost tissue, or incomplete where after the necrotic tissue comes fibrosis. â?– Native symbols represented by the West: - Adult - Fall - Intellectual - Water - Bear - Sage Apache Mother

AISF Mission As a collective of Indigenous Peoples, our mission is to affirm the rights of Indigenous peoples, their right to self-determination, their collective human and civil rights, the rights of sovereignty and the protection of sacred sites, and the free unrestricted movement across international borders.
We Aim To
•
Educate about Indigenous peoples' rights and about conflicts, constructively advocate on public policy measures, and document human rights abuses;
•
Actively outreach to and coalition-build with Indigenous/non-Indigenous organizations, communities, and social justice campaigns;
•
Protect sacred sites along the border and beyond;
•
Facilitate "Know Your Rights" workshops and community forums;
•
Develop a "Southern Border Rights" manual to promote respect for and protection of Indigenous mobility rights.
