You are considered automatically for academic merit scholarships (ranging from $18,000 to $33,000). Millsaps does not charge additional out-of-state fees. Academic scholarships are determined using your highest reported GPA and highest super-scored ACT (or SAT) score, plus additional criteria such as letters of recommendation, the rigor of your academic program and high school curriculum, leadership, extracurricular involvement, alumni/legacy relationships, institutional fit, and demonstrated interest. Laurel Stringer Not only has Millsaps helped me “cross the street,” but they have also helped me “cross the globe.” Thanks to the Robinson Scholarship, I was granted the opportunity to study mathematics in Italy at no cost. The Millsaps Study Abroad Program has helped me become more career-ready by allowing me to interact with an entirely new culture, increase my knowledge on a particular subject, and check-mark boxes off of my bucket list. I highly recommend studying abroad at Millsaps College! Laurel, from Long Beach, Mississippi, is studying neuroscience and cognitive studies, is in the honors program, is a Phi Mu member, and is a writing consultant for the Writing Center.

Steele Liles Throughout my time at Millsaps, I have learned time management and how to balance my academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities in order to be successful. I have gained lifelong friends from all parts of the world. I have sharpened my ability to interact with others. I have experienced a holistic, liberal arts education that is second to none. But most importantly, I achieved/exceeded my primary purpose in my undergraduate experience‌ I gained the knowledge and skill sets required to be successful in the next chapter of my life. Steele, from Calhoun City, Mississippi, graduated in the class of 2019 and is attending medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
