These noncredit courses are open to individuals 16 and older of any race, color, gender, national or ethnic origin. Community Enrichment courses are designed to instruct and inform but not to advise. There are no grades and no exams. The classroom atmosphere is informal and focuses on learning. Since classes often fill quickly, we urge you to register early (by one week before if possible) to ensure a place. Register by telephone (601-974-1130), by mail (make check payable to Millsaps College), by fax (601-974-1137 - credit card only), online (www.millsaps.edu/ conted), or in person (Gertrude C. Ford Academic Complex, room 100). Office hours are 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Fridays. Beginning April 28 office hours will be 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. To ensure a place in the class is available, call before you come to the campus. Cancellation policy: Classes with insufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation. Students will be notified of a class cancellation by telephone before the first class meeting. Since we must call you during working hours, please supply a phone number where you can be reached during the day or where a message may be left for you. Full refunds of course fees will be given for courses which are cancelled or the registrant may choose an alternate course or receive a credit voucher for future courses. Please allow two or three weeks for refund checks to arrive. Credit card charges will be credited back to the charge card. Class locations and parking: Maps of the campus will be sent with our confirmation notices. If a class is held off campus, directions will be mailed with the confirmation. Specific class locations will be posted in the first floor lobby of the Gertrude C. Ford Academic Complex outside room 100 on the first day of class. You may park underneath the Ford Academic Complex or in front of Murrah Hall.

If your class is held in Olin Hall or the aerobics room, you may enter the campus at the Riverside Drive gate and park in the area next to Olin Hall or the Maurice C. Hall Activities Complex. Please observe all parking signs, including fire lanes, loading zones, and handicapped spaces. If you are stopped at a security gate, just tell the officer you are on campus for a community enrichment class. Parking permits are not required for enrichment students. Classrooms and parking facilities are well lit, and campus security remains on duty throughout the evening. Refunds: A $10 service fee is charged for processing all withdrawals. Refunds will be given up to two working days before a course begins; after that no refunds will be given. If at the last minute you are unable to attend, you may send a friend or colleague in your place–just let us know. Classes are often filled and have waiting lists; therefore, someone who doesn’t show up may deprive someone else of a place in the class.
