All admitted students are considered for merit scholarships. Need-based grants, student loans and other financial aid opportunities depend on your background and demonstrated need. Students wishing to apply for need-based financial aid must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after Oct. 1.

We encourage you to file the FAFSA® even if you think you won’t qualify for financial assistance. Students and parents should request a Federal Student Aid ID at fsaid.ed.gov and then submit the FAFSA with Millsaps College code 002414. Curious about your cost to come to Millsaps? Check out our net price calculator, millsaps.edu/calculator, for an estimate before FAFSA results.

WILL THE NAME ON MY DEGREE MEAN SOMETHING YEARS DOWN THE ROAD? At Millsaps, it will. We are one of the few liberal arts colleges that can boast a Phi Beta Kappa Chapter (the first in Mississippi) and an AACSB-accredited school of business. We are the only private college in Mississippi listed in The Princeton Review’s 2021 edition of The Best 386 Colleges and are ranked by Forbes as the best college in the state. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO GRADUATE? Not long at Millsaps. We guarantee graduation in four years. And when you’re talking about the price of tuition on an annual basis, this is pretty important, especially since many of our competitors base their graduation rates on six or even eight years. Did you know? › 95% of our students receive some form of financial aid. › Admitted students are automatically considered for merit scholarships. › We don’t require any out-of-state fees.
