Iconic buildings like the Walker Center and the Salt Lake Temple complement new additions such as 111 Main as they all stand in the foreground of the majestic Wasatch Mountain Range. If you’re looking to take in some breathtaking views of the city, you’re in luck. You won’t need to be a rich

Salt Lake City Public Library: An architectural gem in downtown, the SLC Public Library (210 E. 400 S. www.slcpl. org) isn’t just a community resource for expanding your knowledge and enjoying dozens of free cultural events. Its rooftop terrace provides a 360-degree view of downtown, the Wasatch and everything in between. Take the scenic outdoor stairs or hitch a ride on the elevator to arrive on the rooftop. Pro tip: Don’t miss Salt Lake Power Yoga’s free rooftop yoga events during the spring and summer months! Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church Office Building

Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church Office Building:

on the upstairs patio to enjoy a front-row view of the City & County Building. This view pairs best with an order of the Chile Verde Nachos and your drink of choice.

Located at the base of Capitol Hill and coming in at 420 feet, the LDS Church Office Building (50 E. North Temple www. templesquare.com) is one of the tallest buildings in downtown. To gain rooftop access, head into the building lobby and friendly receptionists will guide you to the top of the edifice. The rooftop offers eye-level views of the capital, the Temple Square grounds and the Great Salt Lake.

Campos Coffee Roastery & Kitchen: Tucked away on one of our favorite mid-block thoroughfares, Australian based Campos Coffee (228 S. Edison St. us.camposcoffee.com) keeps downtown workers fueled with their high octane in-house roastery and killer brunch menu. Their small but quaint rooftop patio offers solace from the summer sun while you enjoy your iced coffee.
