From the Executive Director MORRISON CENTER IDAHO’S PREMIER PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Dear friends of the Morrison Center, I am delighted to write my first letter to all of you as the new Executive Director of the Morrison Center! I am truly honored to come to work every day at this beautiful facility that means so much to Boise. As we get to know one another, you will learn that I love everything about Broadway. I have been involved in theater ever since I was in the second grade (and if you ask my mom, probably before that… I can be very dramatic). Together, we went to Les Misérables in Kansas City, CATS in Lincoln, Nebraska – and when I was in the 8th grade Into the Woods on Broadway. I was hooked. And now I am overseeing Broadway In Boise, and it is a dream come true. I am thrilled to welcome FIDDLER ON THE ROOF to the Morrison Center. It is a classic musical with a fresh new vision by Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher. I can’t wait to hear those famous songs “Matchmaker, Matchmaker” and “To Life!” fill the Morrison Center. If you are a season ticket holder, we appreciate your support for all our fantastic shows. Thank you for being with us. If this is your first time to the Morrison Center, welcome! We hope you come back and see us often. We are just getting started. I truly look forward to getting to know all of you and bringing you the best in Broadway. We have been Idaho’s Home for Broadway the past 22 years – and I look forward to many, many, more. Let’s raise a cup to joy! To Love! To Life! See you at the theater,

Laura Kendall Executive Director, The Morrison Center
