WELCOME
2013 2014
Dear Friends, The Board of Directors and Staff of the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association are proud to welcome you to our concert this evening. The experiences you take from the concerts provide lasting memories for you and your family. If you are a first-time attendee, you may have a few questions about “concert etiquette.” To enjoy your experience to the fullest, relax and enjoy the music. Here are a couple of reminders that might put you at ease: ♫ Please silence cell phones, pagers, or anything else noisy. ♫ No photography or recording of any kind, please. ♫ Applaud when the Concert Master, Conductor, or Guest Artist enters. ♫ During the playing of a symphony or concerto which has multiple movements, applause is traditionally held until the end of the complete work when the conductor turns to face the audience. Right here at home we have the opportunity to attend performances by world-class performing groups, and the venue at the Browning Center is outstanding. During the remainder of our current season you will see more Utah Symphony, the “Little Mermaid” by Ballet West, and awardwinning Vocal Point from BYU. OSBA will continue “Bringing the Arts Home” for many years to come. We invite and welcome your participation as ticket holders, donors, and Association committee members. Enjoy your memories!
