Director’s Note I first saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the famed Waverly Movie Theater on Sixth Avenue in New York City. I was in college and although I thought of myself as a worldly young woman, the whole experience blew my mind. From dressing as your favorite character, to talking back to the screen, to the undeniable message of acceptance—I was hooked! I wasn’t sure, back in 2014 when we first produced our concert staging of the show, whether it would be embraced by Utah audiences. Well, our audiences back in 2014 and then again in 2015 couldn’t have jumped in with more gusto—the outfits were incredible, and each audience left the theatre littered with newspapers, hot dogs, playing cards, and glowsticks (no real flame allowed!). I had intended to bring Rocky back during the 2021-2022 Season. Well, we know that didn’t happen, but I think fate is bringing this show back at just the right moment. We need a good time, we need to laugh, and sing, and to do the TIME WARP AGAIN. I hope you will join us, “It’s just a jump to the left…” Karen Azenberg
