At Marissa's Books and Gifts, we are dedicated to creating an extraordinary and cherished community hub. Over the years, we have created a welcoming space where readers from all walks of life come together, fostering a deep love for books and building meaningful community connections. Our store's inviting atmosphere and diverse selection have made it a treasured destination for book lovers of all ages. We take pride in our role as a cornerstone of the community.

WELCOME

Honk! Honk! Welcome to Salt Lake Acting Company’s production of Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus! We’re thrilled to have you join us for a wacky and wonderful adventure that celebrates the joy of imagination. Get ready for a busload of fun!

This season, we’re all about big imaginations, laughs, and a little dash of chaos! Just like our feathered friend Pigeon, we’re bending the rules, pushing boundaries, and reminding you that sometimes the best adventures come from saying, “Why not?” instead of “No way.”

We hope you’ll embrace your inner Pigeon today—be eager, be curious, be loud! Feel free to giggle, cheer, and let loose as we bring this story to life. Our talented team has worked tirelessly to create a colorful and energetic experience with everyone singing, laughing, and embracing the joy of community. Thank you for being here. Buckle up, enjoy the show, and whatever you do, don’t let the Pigeon drive the bus!

Wishing you love and light this holiday season,

Pigeon Creative Team, Photo by Todd Collins Photography

Back for the 13th year, we are proud to partner with the Visual Art Institute! Student artwork will be displayed in SLAC’s Green Room Gallery — inspired by the school’s efforts to plant the seed of creative curiosity early in life.

Established in 1978, VAI encourages students to integrate their creativity into every aspect of their thinking, education and life, and provides exceptional visual art programs to elementary through high school students, including year-round classes and an intensive figurative workshop in the summer.

You’ll find literature about the Visual Art Institute in the Gallery. Please stop in to enjoy the exhibit.
