WELCOME
Honk! Honk! Welcome to Salt Lake Acting Company’s production of Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus! We’re thrilled to have you join us for a wacky and wonderful adventure that celebrates the joy of imagination. Get ready for a busload of fun!
This season, we’re all about big imaginations, laughs, and a little dash of chaos! Just like our feathered friend Pigeon, we’re bending the rules, pushing boundaries, and reminding you that sometimes the best adventures come from saying, “Why not?” instead of “No way.”
We hope you’ll embrace your inner Pigeon today—be eager, be curious, be loud! Feel free to giggle, cheer, and let loose as we bring this story to life. Our talented team has worked tirelessly to create a colorful and energetic experience with everyone singing, laughing, and embracing the joy of community. Thank you for being here. Buckle up, enjoy the show, and whatever you do, don’t let the Pigeon drive the bus!
Wishing you love and light this holiday season,
Cynthia Executive Artistic Director
Back for the 13th year, we are proud to partner with the Visual Art Institute! Student artwork will be displayed in SLAC’s Green Room Gallery — inspired by the school’s efforts to plant the seed of creative curiosity early in life.
Established in 1978, VAI encourages students to integrate their creativity into every aspect of their thinking, education and life, and provides exceptional visual art programs to elementary through high school students, including year-round classes and an intensive figurative workshop in the summer.
You’ll find literature about the Visual Art Institute in the Gallery. Please stop in to enjoy the exhibit.

The Robertassey
by Kathleen Cahill

A comedy about grief, workshopped in SLAC’s 18/19 New Play Sounding Series. Roberta arrivess in Dublin but her suitcase— which contains her father’s ashes—doesn’t. Her trip turns into a magical mystery tour and the lost suitcase becomes a symbol of her life. This lyrical and intoxicating comedy tests forgiveness, love, and our trust in the universe.
Bat Boy: The Musical
Story &
Book
by Keythe Farley & Brian Flemming
Music & Lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe
Apr. 9 - May 4, 2025
The musical comedy/ horror sensation based on the “cult story” published in The Weekly World News about a half boy/half bat creature discovered in a cave near Hope Falls, West Virginia comes back to Salt Lake Acting Company after 21 years. This campy, heartfelt musical is a satirical commentary on prejudice and tolerance in America. Licensed under agreement with Weekly World News
