BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Founded in 1991, Tuacahn Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that is nestled at the base of Padre Canyon, surrounded by red sandstone cliffs that rise thousands of feet into the beautiful blue southern Utah sky.
MISSION: Tuacahn edifies and inspires the human spirit through professional world-class family entertainment and an unparalleled artistic and educational experience that matches the majesty of our canyon.
Known best for its professional theatre, Tuacahn attracts the most talented actors in America. Each year, thousands of applicants audition from New York City to Los Angeles. Tuacahn productions include members of Actors’ Equity Association, the union for professional actors and stage managers, many of whom have appeared on Broadway or in other nationally recognized venues.
As a community asset, Tuacahn entertains more than 350,000 patrons each year, with musicals, concerts, shopping, food, and other special events. Tuacahn is Utah’s largest professional non-profit theatre and acts as an economic engine generating an annual impact of more than $150 million. Visitors stay in hotels, dine at restaurants, and shop at retail outlets while enjoying recreational activities in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Zeppelin USA (ZUSA for short) is all about the music and spirit of Led Zeppelin. When the members of ZUSA formed, a clear decision had to be made. They could have easily donned the blonde “Robert Plant” wig, the dragon suit a la Jimmy Page, the 3 rings on the kick drum, etc. as so many other Zep tributes have done. But they knew that in order to set themselves apart from the pack they had to choose a different path. To stand on the music only, they know they’re going to be judged hard in that respect. And so, they focus on getting the right tones, vocal inflections, their mix out front, borrowing a little from the studio versions here, the live versions there...much attention is spent on delivering a true sonic Zep experience.
RYAN HAMILTON
Ryan recently released his first stand-up special. The one-hour Netflix original Happy Face follows a wealth of television appearances and a non-stop headlining tour. Armed with the unique perspective of growing up in rural Idaho to become a favorite in the New York stand-up comedy scene, he’s oneof-a-kind. He’s been named one of Rolling Stone’s Five Comics to Watch, and recent appearances include The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, and opening spots for Jerry Seinfeld as well as Gad Elmaleh at Carnegie Hall. Ryan is endearing stand-up lovers, and his future is bright.

Director’s Note
Dear Odyssey Patron,
We are so happy to be back after a year’s pause!
There may not have been performances but we were busy with our Community Outreach Programs, granting dance scholarships to young dancers who showed promise but didn’t have the means to continue their training and providing dance classes in schools that participate in the Salt Lake County Youth Services Afterschool Program.
We have planned a full 30th Anniversary Season that will showcase the creativity, innovation, humor and talent that you have appreciated for the last three decades.
We hope you will join us for all of our programs by buying season tickets (go to www. odysseydance.com). The Odyssey continues!!
Thank you for your support and best wishes,

KC and the Sunshine Band are still as widely popular today as they were when they first danced into the music scene 50 years ago. Harry Wayne Casey—KC for short—developed a unique fusion of R&B and funk, with a hint of a Latin percussion groove, giving us an impressive string of hits like “Get Down Tonight,” “That’s The Way (I Like It)” and “Shake Your Booty.” With sales of over 100 million records, nine Grammy nominations, three Grammy Awards and an American Music Award, KC and the Sunshine Band was one of the most progressive bands of the 70s and is credited with changing the sound of modern pop music. Today, KC and the Sunshine Band play over 100 live shows annually, circling the country and playing dates regularly throughout Europe, Australia and South America. This year KC will celebrate 50 years of entertaining us, writing songs, and performing around the world and has no intention of stopping.

THE DOO WOP PROJECT NOVEMBER
The Doo Wop Project begins at the beginning: tracing the evolution of Doo Wop from the classic sound of five guys singing harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the radio today. In their epic shows The Doo Wop Project takes audiences on a journey featuring foundational tunes from the Crests, Belmonts and Flamingos through the vocal artistry of Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, and The Four Seasons all the way to DooWopified versions of modern hits from Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, and Sam Smith.
Featuring stars from the Broadway hits Jersey Boys, Motown: The Musical, and A Bronx Tale, The Doo Wop Project brings unparalleled authenticity of sound and vocal excellence to recreate—and in some cases entirely reimagine—the greatest music in American pop and rock history.
