THE MUSIC OF CAROLE KING

Jeannie Austin - Piano/Vocals Jeannie brings a wealth of experience to the stage. After an Actors life in NYC and receiving a BA in Liberal Arts, music was the next ambition on her To Do list. She lives in Los Angeles and works in Film production by day and plays music at night. She loves all kinds of music and plays in multiple bands. Her first instrument was Piano, but also plays Acoustic and Electric rhythm guitar, with a little bit of Harmonica and Mandolin thrown in, and will take on any other instrumental challenge as needed. Music is a passion and Carole King is her inspiration. Ori Huberman - Guitar/Vocals Born in Chicago and raised in Israel, Ori developed a passion for music before he could walk. He started playing guitar at age 11 and hasn’t stopped since. After completing his military service in the IDF he committed himself to a life of a musician. He studied music in Israel and in Los Angeles where he finished as the outstanding student of the year, all the time keeping himself busy playing in various ensembles. Today he continues playing in original, cover, tribute, rock, jazz and swing bands and never turns down an opportunity to stretch himself musically. Starr Light - Vocals Born in Hollywood, CA, the little girl who came to be known as Starr grew up performing. Dance lessons transitioned into a talent for musical theater. While athletics played a dominant role during the high school years, come college time she declared theater as her major at Loyola Marymount University. Four years in the theater program and several productions later, Starr emerged from LMU with a desire to expand her horizons. A stint as an amateur competitive ballroom dancer through the USC Ballroom and Latin Team allowed her to experience many styles of partner dancing. Starr now sings lead in her own Los Angeles based cover band, Run For Cover LA, hosts and sings for The Dollface Dames burlesque troupe and provides background and lead vocals to other cover and original bands in a variety of genres. Not only does she love performing on stage, she enjoys encouraging other performers to find and embrace their inner super star. Tim Battig - Keyboard/Vocals Originally a classically-trained French Horn Player, multi-instrumentalist Tim Battig enjoys performing in numerous genres from Classical and Jazz, to Rock-n-Roll and Trip-Hop,

MCA Nashville recording artist Josh Turner, while a multi-platinum-selling star himself, is a country music fan first and foremost. He’s even concocted his own version of Mount Rushmore conceived solely of country music legends. Turner’s “Mount Rushmore of Country Music” boasts five faces rather than four (it’s his mountain, after all) — Randy Travis, John Anderson, Johnny Cash, Vern Gosdin, and Hank Williams. The giants carved into the granite of Turner’s musical soul form the core of his aptly titled new album, Country State of Mind. “I’ve always said that any song you hear coming from my voice, you’re going to hear bits and pieces of those five guys,” he says. “They taught me how to be Josh Turner.” For nearly two decades, Turner has been one of country music’s most recognizable voices, selling more than 8.5 million units and amassing more than 2.5 billion global streams. He has never kept his reverence for traditional country music a secret, but, with this latest album, Josh Turner is definitely in a Country State of Mind. Really, though, he always has been.

AMERICA

America, the perennial classic-rock favorite, is continuing to celebrate its 50th Anniversary with their powerful performances. Founding members, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell (along with former band mate, the late Dan Peek) met in high school in London in the late 1960s and quickly harmonized their way to the top of the charts on the strength of their signature song “A Horse With No Name.” America became a global household name and paved the way with an impressive string of hits following the success of their first #1 single. Forty plus years later, these friends are still making music together, touring the world and thrilling audiences with their timeless sound.

REO SPEEDWAGON

REO SPEEDWAGON

MARCH 25

Formed in 1967, signed in 1971, and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording, jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. Platinum albums and radio staples soon followed, setting the stage for the release of the band’s explosive Hi Infidelity in 1980, which contained the massive hit singles “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It On the Run.” That landmark album spent 15 weeks in the No. 1 slot and has since earned the RIAA’s coveted 10X Diamond Award for surpassing sales of 10 million units in the United States. Today, REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million albums around the globe, and Cronin and bandmates Bruce Hall (bass), Neal Doughty (keyboards), Dave Amato (guitar), and Bryan Hitt (drums) are still electrifying audiences worldwide in concert with hits and fan-favorites such as “In Your Letter,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Time For Me To Fly,” “Roll With The Changes,” the aforementioned “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It On the Run,” and many, many more. PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDERS PROFESSIONAL BULL

RIDERS APRIL 1 & 2

PBR sponsored by

YardleyPremiumBeef.com

This is not a rodeo. We don’t rope calves, and we don’t chase barrels. This is bull riding, and the first rule is just to stay alive. The Professional Bull Riders was created in 1992 when a group of 20 visionary bull riders broke away from the traditional rodeo scene seeking mainstream attention for the sport of professional bull riding. The combination of raw sport and quality entertainment has propelled the PBR to strong growth in live attendance as well. The PBR attracts over 1.5 million live event attendees each year with its multitiered event structure. Professional bull riding is a fierce, rough, and grueling sport with roots deeply embedded in American culture. It’s America’s original extreme sport.

Vocal Point, Brigham Young University’s renowned nineman a capella group, combines harmony, humor, and remarkable vocal percussion into a thrilling showcase. With a wide range of vocal possibilities — and seeming impossibilities — these crowd-pleasers cover it all: rock, pop, country, jazz, hymns, and R&B. Each Vocal Point member generates musical ability, creativity, and stage presence — a combination which adds up to skillful and spirited performances. They have percussion without drums. They have a rhythm section without a bass. The only instruments on stage belong to the nine voices of the nationally renowned a cappella group Vocal Point. From Brigham Young University, Vocal Point captures audiences throughout the world with their stunning, highenergy performances and elaborate music videos. tuacahn.org

The group celebrated their 60th Anniversary in 2021. To mark this milestone, the Temptations are planning a brand-new album, a national concert tour across the country, and an international concert tour in the UK in fall 2021. Named the “#1 R&B/Hip Hop Artists of All Time” and one of the “125 Greatest of All Time Artists” by Billboard magazine, as well as one of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time” by Rolling Stone Magazine, the group is truly a beloved national treasure. The Temptations’ heritage, influence and contributions to, not only American culture and African American communities but also to the global music landscape are monumental. The influence that the Temptations have had on mainstream and global artists is undeniable. THE PIANO GUYS THE PIANO GUYS

APRIL 14, 15, 16

Since their serendipitous start in a Southern Utah piano shop, THE PIANO GUYS have proven to be a powerhouse group without limits. Arriving as a musical phenomenon seemingly overnight, the quartet of Jon Schmidt [pianist, songwriter], Steven Sharp Nelson [cellist, songwriter], Paul Anderson [producer, videographer], and Al van der Beek [music producer, songwriter] have delivered bold compositions that transcend boundaries of style and genre, a boundlessness that has since translated into a massively-successful career. Their 2020 album release “10” was a celebration of The Piano Guys’ 10-year anniversary. The album included their most popular hits from the past 10 years as well as brand-new arrangements. Steven and Jon are gearing up to hit the road to perform their new music and share their great humor. “Who would have ever thought four middle-aged dads from Utah filming classically influenced music in nature could ever succeed at the outset?” asks member Steven Sharp Nelson. “Our favorite thing is to find a way to be on the fringes of possibility. We like to combine things you would never expect to find together—but are close enough to make sense. It has been our mindset from the beginning.” Since formally introducing themselves in 2011, The Piano Guys have released five studio albums, two Christmas releases and a fan-favorite live album, earning six No. 1 debuts on Billboard’s Top Classical Albums chart and garnering an impressive 2 billion-plus global streams, over 1.6 billion YouTube views, and averaging nearly 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. They have sold out concerts in almost every corner of the world and attracted a diehard audience of millions. The Piano Guys have appeared in The New York Times, Fast Company, BuzzFeed, Mashable, People, been featured on CBS Sunday Morning and performed on the TODAY Show, Good Morning America and The Tonight Show.
