IL NOSTRO SISTEMA DECKING Il sistema di pavimentazione Plasticwood è caratterizzato da un’elevata modularità ed è specifico per soluzioni ambientali esterne. Estremamente versatile, sia dal punto di vista tecnico che cromatico, si integra con naturalezza e sapienza ai più diversi stili architettonici, valorizzandone il livello estetico e qualitativo. La singola doga coniuga fibre naturali, quali la farina di legno di abete, con polimeri, quali il polietilene. L’innovativo connubio conferisce, in tal modo, eccezionali standard di resistenza ad agenti atmosferici e chimici, consentendo di conservare inalterate nel tempo le proprietà fisiche e meccaniche, ovviando in tal modo ai processi di manutenzione tipica delle pavimentazioni in legno nobile. Nell’ottica della flessibilità nell’utilizzo, il sistema è altamente reversibile, ovvero passibile di riposizionamento grazie ad un’esclusiva modalità di fissaggio a clip studiata ad hoc. Soluzione, inoltre, che rende la pavimentazione ispezionabile a piacere, consentendo un agevole controllo di eventuali impianti, condutture e cavi.

OUR DECKING SYSTEM

The PlasticWOOD decking is a sturdy and innovative modular flooring system specific for outdoor contexts. The final aesthetic result integrates perfectly with the different architectural and style requirements, thanks to the multiple colors that can be obtained and which fit existing structures. The Plasticwood board is made thanks to a mixture of natural fibers (fir wood) and polymers (polyethylene), which give to the products exceptional features of resistance to atmospheric and chemical agents, which an outdoor floor is subjected to, thus maintaining its mechanical properties and avoiding the typical maintenance of natural wood decking. Another important feature of the PlasticWOOD system is the reversibility. Thanks to a clip fixing system, specifically studied for the PlasticWOOD profiles, it is not necessary to drill the boards, making it possible to remove and reposition the entire floor in another location without any problem. This fixing system also has the advantage of giving the possibility to inspect under the decking at any time, ensuring a constant control of possible pipelines and cables between the ground and the boards.

VARIAZIONI COLORE I prodotti a base legno o composito possono essere soggetti a lievi variazioni di colore da lotto a lotto di produzione. E’ consigliato acquistare in un’unica partita tutte le tavole necessarie all’installazione e nel caso anche delle tavole in sovrannumero per eventuali future riparazioni o sostituzioni. Le tavole riparate o sostituite presenteranno inizialmente un tono colore più vivo, ma raggiungeranno nel giro di qualche mese la tonalità delle altre già installate. Nell’immediato arco temporale successivo alla posa, la pavimentazione è soggetta ad una graduale variazione del tono del colore iniziale. La componente legnosa alimenta la comparsa e scomparsa di aloni d’acqua, fenomeni variabili in funzione della frequenza e quantità d’acqua, di origine naturale (agenti atmosferici) o artificiale. La comparsa di aloni può verificarsi anche in seguito a contatto prolungato con sostanze organiche o prodotti inquinanti e risulta più evidente su pavimentazioni di colore chiaro e a finitura liscia. Al fine di salvaguardare il prodotto è consigliabile rimuovere immediatamente gli aloni comparsi mediante l’uso di carta vetrata sottile o spazzola metallica leggera, onde evitare un assorbimento permanente delle stesse. Dopo l’operazione di ripristino, la zona trattata apparirà inizialmente più chiara, per poi riprendere, con il trascorrere del tempo, la sua colorazione originaria e risultare uniforme rispetto al resto della pavimentazione. E’ buona regola, prima di procedere ad operazioni di spazzolatura, effettuare una prova su di un campione o sul retro del prodotto stesso, allo scopo di valutarne gli effetti e i risultati. PROPRIETÁ TERMICHE Il nostro prodotto, al pari di qualunque materiale da costruzione, è soggetto a riscaldamento per effetto dell’irraggiamento solare, raggiungendo temperature superficiali differenti in funzione dell’intensità, della durata dell’esposizione ai raggi solari e della colorazione. ELETTRICITÁ STATICA La formazione di elettricità statica è un’occorrenza naturale, in particolare su materiali che contengono un componente termoplastico. Seppur costituito da alta percentuale di legno, Plasticwood floor contiene una ridotta componente di materiale termoplastico: è pertanto possibile che si verifichi tale fenomeno. Tale evenienza è comunque rara ed inferiore rispetto a quanto si verifica con decking ad alta percentuale di materiale termoplastico. L’elettricità statica tende ad essere presente soprattutto nei periodi dell’anno in cui l’aria è particolarmente priva di umidità; di conseguenza il verificarsi di tale fenomeno può essere minimizzato irrorando periodicamente la pavimentazione con acqua.

COLOUR VARIATIONS Products based on wood or composite components can be subject to slight color variations between different production lots. It is advisable to buy all the necessary boards from the same production lot, and possibly to order extra boards in case of future repair or substitution. The boards that have been substituted or repaired will initially have a more lively color tone, but will achieve the same tone of the already installed boards in a few months of time. During the lifetime of the product marks or stains may appear if organic debris or other pollutants are left in contact with the boards for an extended period of time. In addition to following the care and maintenance advice, it is important to act promptly and remove these stains to prevent them from being absorbed into the product, in order to prolong the life of the decking. These stains may be more obvious on smooth and lighter colour products. Fine sandpaper or a light metal brush (in case of brushed profiles we recommend to brush in the same direction of the original brushing) can be used to remove stains effectively. The treated area may initially appear slightly lighter but will weather to a more even hue over time to match the rest of the decking. If you intend to brush away a stain, first test on a sample or on the back of a board to check the result. THERMAL PROPERTIES Like any other building material Plasticwood floor is also heated by sunlight, the surface temperatures will depend on the intensity and duration of irradiation and on the material color.

STATIC ELECTRICITY The formation of static electricity is a natural occurrence, in particular on materials which contain a thermoplastic component. Although made with a high percentage of wood, Plasticwood floor contains a small percentage of thermoplastic material: the formation of static electricity is therefore possible. This occurrence is rare and slighter than on decking that contains a high proportion of thermoplastic material. The formation of static electricity tends to occur during periods of the year when the atmosphere is very dry: wetting the floor periodically will minimize this occurrence.
