Where People Meet Who Love To Cook This last year has just flown by. The learning curve has been steep but the months of total immersion in my favourite store have been glorious and I’ve enjoyed every minute of being part of bringing you the world’s best kitchenware. I’ve relished the opportunity to meet lots of you in the stores and have been delighted to hear of your latest culinary creations. We’d love you to keep telling us what you want, what you need, what you’ve seen on your travels - it’s brilliant.

Kitchenware just continues to get better. We at Milly’s are always excited to explore what’s new and revolutionary but we find that we do keep coming back to our tried and true favourites. Made from traditional materials like cast iron, stainless steel and copper we love cookware that give lifetimes of service and cooking pleasure.

The home baking trend continues too. Baking is such a delightful and satisfying passtime. We’re seeing young mums, particularly, discovering the pleasures of baking from scratch. In answer, we’ve dedicated a whole room in the Ponsonby store to cake tins alone - it really is inspiring and if it doesn’t get you baking, I don’t know what will! You’ll find a selection of our favourites on pages 32 and 33.

We’re very excited to launch the new and revamped Milly’s Gift Registry service which we know will make your occasion just that little bit more special. It’s very web friendly too which is so convenient when you have guests from far flung places coming to your celebration.
