OVER THE COURSE OF TWO DECADES working at Zuern, Greg Fedorski has seen the building products and design center tackle hundreds of projects. We can guide people in their budget.” Homeowners can call or stop in at any of Zuern’s five showrooms for a consultation. Fedorski or one of the other designers will meet with them, discuss their vision for the project, and draft ideas. By the end of the process, the Zuern team will have a full set of plans drawn up to bring the project to life. Depending on the nature of the work, Zuern will then connect the homeowner with one of its trusted builders or remodelers to bring it to the finish line. “People come to us because we’re professional and knowledgeable,” Fedorski says. “They have all their ideas, and it’s a bit like a box full of puzzle pieces. We put that puzzle together and make their vision come true.”

DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT GREG FEDORSKI started working at Zuern 25 years ago, when he was fresh out of college. He wanted a design position with the firm, but the only opening was at the front desk. Two years later, he parlayed that job into a spot on the Residential Home Design team. He’s now Design Lead, working closely with homeowners to shepherd their home plans from idea to drawing to building to reality. “I enjoy figuring out what people want,” Fedorski says. “People come in with photos from Pinterest, rooms they saw at home shows, things like that. And we can help turn all of that inspiration into a custom design for them. That’s very satisfying.”
