It’s all about the full brow – either fluffy or defined, big brows are in. Many of us were victims of over-plucking at some point, so growth serums like Revitalash or even microblading are popular solutions to acquiring big, beautiful brows.

Aside from brows, what are some of your most popular services to help people put their best face forward?

We’ve always been known for our Brazilian waxes – it’s a High Brow staple. But facials like the DermaRenew or DermaLift are also client favorites. Using techniques

like dermaplaning and mild chemical peels – topped with instantly brightening, firming and hydrating masks – these facials provide immediate results. We can even take things a step further and add microneedling to really kick wrinkles in the pants!

What’s the most important beauty product you suggest for achieving perfect looking brows?

I love the Billion Dollar Brow micro pencil. The fine, micro-point tip allows for precision application, and it’s smudge-proof, creating a very natural look to any brow. Finish your look with the Billion Dollar Brow gel and you’re all set.

What is one treatment for people seeking a fresh look for spring?

Dermaplaning is by far one of our most popular treatments for the season. Using a medical grade blade we exfoliate the skin, which also removes the peach fuzz or vellus hair, leaving the skin instantly more radiant. To keep the radiance going, snag my favorite exfoliant, the Yon-Ka Gommage, to use at home.

How often do people usually visit you for maintenance?

Typically we see most of our clients every three to six weeks, but we always offer a customized treatment plan for every client based on their needs.

Jennifer Hipp is a Functional Medicine Physician Assistant, board-certified in regenerative medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging. At Uthology, she is providing an innovative approach to improving aesthetics for both men and women. Her medical practice focuses on vitality and wellness from the inside out, treating the body at a tissue level. Uthology’s treatments use chemistry to replace hormones and stem cell therapies to swap old cells with new ones to restore the body.

What are some of the most common symptoms you treat that are associated with aging?

Anti-aging is our specialty so we can treat any symptoms that are visible.

The most common beauty-related symptoms we treat are weight gain and changes to body composition, thinning or weak hair, and sagging, aged skin with loss of volume, collagen or pigment changes.

Other common problems we treat include low energy/fatigue, mood swings, changes in sexual health, insomnia and memory changes/brain fog.

Tell us about some of the new treatments you offer.

Stem cell facial rejuvenation and microneedling are very popular.

We are essentially using brand new unspecialized cells to rejuvenate the face, hair, body and other tissues.

Wellness injections are used to treat the whole body by injecting a specific quantity of stem cells into the arm or buttocks. No other clinic does this in the greater Milwaukee area.

The mainstays are Bio Identical Hormone Replacement (BHRT) and protein peptide therapies to aid and balance growth hormones. By giving your body the tools it needs that are lost with age, there is a system-wide benefit, especially aesthetically.

We are also the only practice in Greater Milwaukee using International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) medical-grade stem cells – not platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or growth factors that are only as effective as the patient donating them. For example, a 20-year-old has infinitely better cells and growth factors to donate than a 65 year-old client.

Do your services focus mainly on aesthetics or overall wellness?

We treat our patients from the inside out. Balanced hormones, body chemistry, good nutrition and healthy lifestyle all contribute to a healthy, beautiful person. When you’re healthy on the inside, your skin is clear and firm, and it glows. You no longer have breakouts or pigment changes. Your hair and nails grow thick and strong.

What is the biggest misunderstanding with the treatments you offer?

People often don’t realize these treatments are not superficial. They actually work at the tissue levels to restore the body to its healthiest state. It’s called regenerative medicine because it replaces human cells and tissues to restore or establish normal function.

What are your clients most surprised to learn?

Because of the great results, clients are surprised that they’re not cheating or taking shortcuts to lose that weight, smooth wrinkles and firm skin, or get their hair to grow. Our treatments don’t just mask the symptoms. They restore health to obtain the desired long-term aesthetic effect.

Some of these services sound a bit invasive – do they hurt?

At the very most, some of our procedures may require local anesthesia. No cuts or stitches are ever used in our clinic; you might only leave with a bandage. The best part is that there is no downtime or recovery.
