1 Partnership with Packwell Co. Ltd.

Packwell Co. Ltd signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Anflocor Industrial Estate and the Contract was signed 24 April 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. This is one of the 37 investment leads previously facilitated by MinDA. Packwell specializes in designing, manufacturing, and selling of paper packaging containers.

MinDA Fruits Festival 2 3 Trade Mission to Papua New Guinea

MinDA for the first time also embarked on an inter-island trading, through the MinDA Fruit Festival, which so far reached cities of Baguio and Lingayen. Upon the assumption of Secretary Piñol, MinDA staged a business Mission to Papua New Guinea (PNG) for Potential Exportation of Organic Premium Rice from Mindanao to Overseas Market, which was further sealed with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between MinDA and the Central Province Government of Papua New Guinea. The country is a niche market for goodeating quality rice as the country imports about 400,000 MT of rice annually from Australia, Thailand and Vietnam.
