Mindanao Development Authority
The Mindanao Development Authority is a government agency created by virtue of R.A. 9996 or otherwise known as the “Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Act of 2010. The agency aims to “promote, coordinate and facilitate the active and extensive participation of all sectors to effect the socioeconomic development of Mindanao.” Moreover, MinDA serves as the coordinating office for all BIMP-EAGA related programs. MinDA’s powers and functions cover all provinces and cities of Region IX, X, XI, XII, Caraga and Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) in a comprehensive approach towards socioeconomic development.
