The Bangsamoro Development Corridor forms part of our larger and long-term Mindanao Development Corridors Strategy. It aims to reconnect Marawi and Lanao del Sur to the gateways and markets by ensuring efficient infrastructure facilities that will support and sustain the economic activities in these areas. With its rich natural and human resources, as well as the established historical and trading ties with the East ASEAN neighboring countries, the Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia and Malaysia, the Bangsamoro corridor is seen to usher development that is fully responsive to the needs and aspirations of the Bangsamoro communities.
