Tourism and Logistics Projects The Mindanao Development Corridors initiative focuses on optimizing growth of regions based on their potentials and strategic roles in the overall development of Mindanao. As a spatial development strategy, the corridor approach builds on the trade and economic strengths between and among regions through improved infrastructure, connectivity, logistics, industry development and investment facilitation. The island economy of Mindanao is subdivided into three (3) development corridors: Northern Mindanao Development Corridor, Southern Mindanao Development Corridor, and Western Mindanao Development Corridor, with five (5) industrial clusters that have complementary roles and competitive advantages. To fully tap the potentials of the industries identified in each corridor, strategic investment programs have been prioritized that are vital to the improvement of the business environment within the priority industries (e.g. cacao, coffee, coconut). Integrated programs and projects to include public sector investments, Private-Public-Partnership (PPP) projects, and private sector investments for Mindanao are critical to increase the productivity and job-generation opportunities in the agri-fishery sector, manufacturing, and tourism sectors.

Agro-Industrial Production Areas Mindanao, located in the southernmost part of the Philippines, is blessed with a good climate, fertile soils, and a large pool of skilled human resource making it the country’s premier food basket and major supplier of agricultural and industrial products. Recognizing these potentials, the Philippine government is taking purposive action towards the development of Mindanao’s emerging industries including cocoa, coconut and coffee. The markets for these products are expanding worldwide and Mindanao is poised to become a major player by meeting the demands in both quantity and quality. Coconut, cocoa, and coffee are packaged as a crop system that maximizes yield through intercropping technology. The intercropping system of compatible plants encourages biodiversity that help limit outbreaks of crop pests and maintain suitable climatic conditions. Investments in cacao, coconut, and coffee in Mindanao are encouraged through programs and projects that provide logistics support, technical and financial assistance, policy development, and incentives.

WHAT WE DO Inclusive Business Growth Program
MinDA's Inclusive Business Growth Program seeks to facilitate investments that result in jobs and community empowerment, such as agribusiness projects that make communities integral components to the supply chain. This purposive investment facilitation aims to increase private sector investment in lagging areas with high incidence of poverty and low human development index. It is anchored on agribusiness development with emphasis on industry commodities such as cacao, coffee, oil palm, and coconut.
Investment Promotion and Facilitation
MinDA facilitates the promotion and marketing of inter-regional, intra-regional, and Mindanao-wide trade and investment opportunities to BIMP-EAGA and other international markets.
The Mindanao Development Corridors
The Mindanao Development Corridors is a key spatial strategy that will pave the pathway for a connected and globally competitive Mindanao. It aligns with the national government's roadmap for inclusive and rapid growth under its social contract with the Filipino people, the Mindanao Development Authority through the Mindanao Peace and Development and Framework Plan or the Mindanao 2020.
The Mindanao Nurturing Our Waters (MindaNOW) Program The MindaNOW! program serves as an overarching advocacy and coordination platform for all sectors in adopting ridge-to-reef approach in planning as well as integrated implementation of watershed and riverbasin management programs in Mindanao.
Mindanao Power Development Program
