Which students is Mindprint best for?
“
EVERYONE! We use Mindprint for all new students. Before Mindprint we already had an excellent reputation for improving performance on SSAT, ACT and SAT scores and supporting students in academic subjects. We knew that Mindprint would accelerate the efficiency and efficacy of delivering outcomes.
Every new student takes Mindprint, which is then used as the central instrument in the student’s kickoff meeting. The Mindprint results and strategy recommendations drive the student’s tutoring plan.

Case Study: Addressing Lower than Expected Performance on ACT Science
“
Sam likes science and his AP science grades have always been good. When he took the ACT diagnostic, we all were surprised at his Science score. But Mindprint explained why. His reasoning skills are strong but not his spatial skills. It was affecting his ability to efficiently interpret graphs and charts. We gave him the recommended strategies to work with graph and chart problems. It was amazing how something so simple could make such a huge difference. — Catherine B, Tutor, A+ Tutoring, Main Line & Philadelphia, PA

Case Study: Addressing Academic Declines in Middle School
“
Jake’s grades and standardized test scores in K -4 were always near perfect. After elementary, they began a stead decline. When he came to us he was getting nearly all C’s and his test scores were in the 25th percentile. Mindprint revealed the answer. He scored in the top 25% for all the assessed cognitive skills, except for working memory which was in the bottom 25%. Strategies targeted to support his ability to hold on to and work with multiple pieces of information at once now help him tackle the more complex math problems and reading material he encounters in middle school.

We first saw opportunity to use it with our ‘enigma’ students. When academic achievement data and observation were just not enough. Now we do it for all students upfront. We don’t want to wait until the middle of the test prep cycle to realize we’re missing something.
