ABOUT THE COMPANY

Electrovazhmash (EVM) was established almost 70 years ago. Part of a joint manufacturing unit with power turbines producer Turboatom during Soviet times, Electrovazhmash was subsequently spun off due to its core business being electric machinery. The company produces hauling equipment for mines and railways (about 60-70% of revenues) as well as turbo and hydro generators (though there are limitations on production of large-capacity generators) and direct-current electric machinery (up to 30%). EVM’s equipment is used in over 40 countries globally.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

To make reorientation to Western markets and conduct diversification of the sales markets of the company as a whole; To create the company that will be the best example of effective business organization and an example to follow in terms of transparency, openness and quality management standards; To reform business management model and to transform company’s organizational structure by implementing business processes and performance management tools that will meet the best world practices; To perform reengineering of corporate culture; To ensure the efficiency and transparency of commercial transactions and as a result – growth of financial results. Ensure the strategic stability of the company during the crisis processes.

Integrated operational management of the company, in order to achieve targeted operating and financial indicators;

Full responsibility for the business ratios concerning all areas of the company, including finance, government affairs, investment community, risk management, fundraising, and etc.;

Organizational design and establishment of management system that allows to see the actual operational situation for avoiding the possible errors, increasing efficiency and impacting on key business processes;

Representation and establishment of constructive working relations with all categories of target audiences: investors, major customers, suppliers, commercial banks, official bodies, industry associations and other organizations;

Control of capital projects and investment projects initiated within the company;

Implementation of the project office and project management improvement of organizational and operational processes;

Development of personnel professional training program, management culture and level of leadership. Implementation of key


performance indicators (KPI), evaluation and motivation systems.

Establish personnel reserve and ensure talent implementation within the organization

Creation of talent pool and ensure reproduction of talent within the organization.

To form a long-term development strategy of the company. To develop and consistently implement an action plan to optimize costs and business processes;

To build high-quality and efficient system of management, as well as relevant business functions that will be adequate to the current state of the organization, assignments and strategic goals;

To create professional team of functional "leaders of change" that can ensure effective implementation of the development strategy of the organization and passing through all stages of reform.

Core qualifications

Higher education. MBA will be a plus Candidates must demonstrate executive experience in majority of core qualifications within five categories described below: 1. Leading Change: 4. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Professional requirements

The successful candidate must have significant experience (over 5 years) in management of large companies (over 500 people), taking a higher managerial position. The experience in international companies


will be an advantage;

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Must have experience in projects to improve production efficiency and change management, and management experience in business restructuring and reengineering of business processes;

Knowledge of prospects and development trends of the industry;

The candidate must have a deep knowledge of business economics and operational experience in strategic planning, budgeting, manufacturing process, project management of capital investment, knowledge of the principles of corporate governance.

The candidate must have experience in high-level negotiations with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, partners, government agencies, etc. The experience of conflict management.
