ABOUT THE COMPANY

Description State-owned enterprise ‘Electrovazhmash’ (EVM) produces hauling equipment for mines and railways (about 60-70% of revenues), as well as turbo and hydro generators (though there are limitations on production of large-capacity generators) and direct-current electric machinery (up to 30% of revenues). EVM’s equipment is used in over 40 countries globally. EVM production covers 78% of Ukrainian installed capacity of hydroelectric power plants. The enterprise also provides maintenance and modernization services. The director of the company performs comprehensive operational management to achieve main operational goals and financial targets.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain presence in existing markets, diversify and develop presence in new markets; Exercise personal responsibility for delivering on business plan targets in all aspects of the company’s operations. Responsibility for execution of the financial plan, relations with state bodies, risk management, attraction of financing, etc.; Develop the organization’s capacity and create the management system to enable control of the current situation, improve efficiency and ensure influence on key business processes; Represent interests of the company and build constructive relations with all target audience: key clients, suppliers, banks, authorities and other organizations; Effectively implement and manage CAPEX and investment projects; Set up a project office and implement projects to improve organizational and operational processes; Improve professional skills of personnel, foster corporate culture and develop leadership potential. Introduce key performance indicators (KPI), personnel evaluation and motivation systems. Create a system of succession planning and promotion of talents within the organization; Formulate long-term development strategy for the company. Develop and consistently implement an action plan to optimize costs and business processes; Develop high quality and efficient business management model for the company and for the relevant business functions which will be aligned with the current condition of the organization, its tasks and strategic goals; Create a professional team of agents of change capable of effective implementation of the strategy for the development and transition of the company through all stages of reform.

GENERAL SELECTION CRITERIA Education

Higher education with relevant specialization (Master, Specialist).
