The White Company, The Vampire’s Wife and Glyndebourne Opera House are among the fashion, interiors and arts names with whom PR specialist Luke Batchelor has worked. MINE caught up with him to find out what we should be buying this spring and what inspirational social accounts we should be keeping an eye on. Follow Luke on Instagram @luke_batchelor_pr
‘There is something about spring that awakens a desire for newness and change, especially in the home. The acquisition of an inspiring interiors book or a fresh seasonal-inspired candle, or embracing a bold new colour, is a great way to start the new year.
‘Apparently, the roaring twenties are due a comeback, so what better way to channel The Great Gatsby’s Daisy Buchanan’s drawing room than with a striking statement piece from Lalique, the ultimate symbol of French luxury and craftsmanship? This beautiful ‘Languedoc’ vase (above) was designed by René Lalique in 1929. I love the bold green, which evokes growth and renewal.
‘I believe your home should smell inviting and have a personal touch. There are no finer candles than those from master perfumer Roja Dove, whose fragrances are made using the world’s finest raw materials. Roja’s London candle (right) has the warmth of a crackling log fire, while notes of violet, lavender and rose evoke the scent of a quintessentially British garden.’
