Ahmed was only 2 years of age when he and his family were driven out of their home in Syria.

He lost his father and his mother, and now has the responsibility of looking after his other siblings.

More than 11 million people have been left displaced and forced out of their homes. They are living as refugees in overcrowded IDP camps. They do not have access to adequate health care, clean water and there is a shortage of food.

The people of Syria are in need of humanitarian assistance.

Since 2011, Minhaj Welfare Foundation has been supporting the Syrian campaign: - Providing food parcels and winterisation packets to families living in Egypt and Syria.

- Assisting the Syrian refugees in Europe (Greece and Calais) with warm blankets, clothing and food.
