Located in Yukon, Oklahoma, this project was intended to provide a new community space that also serves as a government complex for the city of Yukon. The concept is driven by the idea of creating a better connection through the relocation of key services, green-space, and the arts. These connections are fostered by the proximity of the library to the municipal complex, the arts district to Rt. 66, and the play of the natural and built environment.

Ara Pacis Musem
History as Inspiration The objective of this studio project was to design a new museum for the Ara Pacis Monument on a site located to the west of the Mausoleum of Augustus in Rome, Italy. After extensive study of its history, the concept of this proposal is inspired by the construction, destruction, and reconstruction of the Ara Pacis Monument. These elements are what drive the story of the monument and the idea of creating an organic form that is made of linear elements following a curve vertically and horizontally throughout the site, similar to a curve that exists within a story often known as the plot curve.

Mixed-Use Building
The MidPoint This project is a mixed use building located on the intersection of West 9th and Wyandotte Street in Kansas City, Missouri. The building is consisted of a total of 14 residential units distributed evenly on the top two floors, a parking garage at Wyandotte Street level, and the first floor includes a cafe, a fitness center, and a dance studio. As visitors approach the building from the south, they will see its main facade and entrance where they can enter it through the stairs which lead to one of the most important features of the building: a carefully designed courtyard, located on top of the parking garage, filled with greeneries, fountains and pergolas. The intent of this space is to provide visual interest, encourage pedestrian activities, and a place for people to gather. In addition, the main circulations are placed on the borders of the building enveloping other spaces in the middle, creating a sense of place, the midpoint where people will be drawn together and create their own community.
