Miniclick
The Miniclick Photography Talks are a series of monthly, free photography and film-making events based in Brighton but working around the UK. Founded by Jim Stephenson, under the curatorship of Lou Miller and Jim, and now working with Jack Latham and Kristina Salgvik they have been running for three years and have become an important fixture on the UK photographic scene, with packed monthly talks, panel discussions, exhibitions and parties. Lots of parties. Miniclick's core ideas are around stories and ideas, rather that cameras and kit. They explore some of the most fascinating ideas and beautiful or hard-hitting stories through their informal talks and discussions with some of the UK's most talented practitioners, that are both free and open to all. In 2013 they started releasing their tri-annual Publication#, a self-published edition focusing on a different theme each issue.
