Content ABOUT ME WORKS

Martina Huber I’m fascinated by all types of design, especially interior design and architecture. I love to go through all stages of a project, from the first idea to the finished project. This is the reason why I study design and product management with the focus on interior design at the university of applied sciences Salzburg / Kuchl. Our study has also a big focus on circular design and sustainability. Before studying in Salzburg, I graduated from media technology and design at the university of applied sciences Upper Austria / Hagenberg. In this study I focused on 3D art, where I learned several 3D programs, basics of programming and virtual reality. In my leisure time I like to meet friends, do sports, do something with my dog and cooking.Furthermore, I love to paint and handcrafting.

Event Pavilion

2017 pavilion | portico | wedding reception tools: ArchiCAD, modelling solo project

unity This pavilion was designed for champagne receptions at weddings in an English garden. This building conveys joy, festivity, familiarity, security and unity. The final design of this room resembles a Greek palace mixed with a rose trap. For this project the lighting was essential. The pavilion casts interesting shadows at any daytime.

Come and See

2018 treehouse | raised hide | guest room tasks: project management, design, 3D modelling, rendering, modelling tools: solidworks | modelling project partners: Vivian Koydl, Jessica Mayr, Thomas Stabauer

relax and observe Come and See is a concept of a tree house which can be rent for relaxing or to observe the nature in the Alps. The tree house includes only the necessities. There is a bed and a small bathroom inside. The floor in the bed room is made of glass just like the cyclinder and the whole ceiling. For a clear view to the ground, to watch the wildlife at the feeding place beneath the tree house, the bed can be folded up to the wall.

Lunchbox

2018 / 2019 in progress canteen | old mill tasks: concept, design tools: ArchiCAD, Photoshop project partner: Stephanie Leitner

community Lunchbox is a project in collaboration with the culture department of Salzburg city. An old listed mill should be renewed inside and brought back to life. The mill should include a center for artists and workers. My collegue and I are working on a concept for the gastronomy on the ground floor, for the people who are working in the mill and the whole district around it. The concept is to bring the different parties together for a better exchange. We also want to increase the well-being of the customers with a natural surrounding. Our concept includes only natural materials and air purifying plants for a better indoor climate.

VR Architecture Visualization

2016 VR application | architecture | game art tasks: head of design tools: Maya 2016, Unreal Engine 4, Substance Painter project partners: Johannes Kostner, Elena Pauzenberger, Erik Thiele

experience VR architecture vizualization is the final project from my first study. It’s a virtual reality application for the HTC Vive, in which the user can walk through a house, open doors and drawers, switch on taps etc. The application also includes a mode where you can build a house on basic structures in real time with the VR gear.
