The Spring | Summer 2017 “Lighthouse” collection embraces the memory of my great grandmother, who raised eight children in lighthouses neighboured only by the sea, air and essential nature of the North Atlantic shores. Nature inspires the essence of minimalisma, a line of highly comfortable children’s garments crafted from luxurious silk-blends, soft organic cottons and pure cashmere. Silhouettes appear clean and timeless, dresses leave room for play and dance, and soft cardigans give comfort on cooler days. Colours evoke the Northern Sea with watery blue, classic nautical stripes, fragile pink, and dazzling ivory and white hues. The “Lighthouse” collection recalls life by the sea, and responds to the desire for children to feel relaxed and carefree.
