Dwellers of earth Elder Sergio Castillo Guatemala, May 29th Year of Abundance
Rev 8:13 (KJV) And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! Joh 1:35-39 (KJV) (35) Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; (36) And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! (37) And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. (38) Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? (39) He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. It´s very interesting note that these men followed John the Baptist. They were disciples of him, but then they knew who Jesus was, so they stopped to follow John. Jesus noted it, and He asked them: what they were looking for? Their respond was that they wanted to know the place where He dwell. Jesus leaded them to that place, and they stayed with him. The main point is that they were not looking for the material things, because they were not earth´s dwellers, like us. We are pilgrims and our course is to the heavenly Jerusalem. 1Pe 2:9-11 (KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: (10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (11) Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Clearly, this quote says that we are foreigners. Our origin was not on earth. We are pilgrims because we are going to go back to the place where we belong. We are not earth´s dwellers. We thanks God for all the blessings that he gives us, so we can enjoy them while we are here. And this does not mean that for all of the good things that we enjoy, we have to fall in love with this earth. Exo 34:12 (KJV) Take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee. It´s very interesting that Israel needed to strive to possess that earth. While Israel needed to do that, we have to strive to get out from this earth. This is our call, the one that God gave to us. The scientist have said that the life time of the earth is very short, because the people have focused on destroy it. For this reason, the Bible says that the time of destroy the ones that destroy the earth is here. Maybe, in some moments we think in accommodate, living here. But today, the time of awake is here. We have to awake in the way we are living, we have to make an effort to straighten our communion with God. Today is the time of awake and change our way of living, if we were not lived in holiness. Today is the time of leave any earthly though, so we can move forward and look for the heavenly things. Remember that the Bible says that there were a lot of people focused on the God´s plans. This need to be an example for our life. We need to have the Holy Spirit inside of us. We need to have that extraordinary

Spirit to live among the people of this world, because we are not from here. We have to be like Daniel and the three Hebrew that preferred die, before dishonor God. And this attitude was the one that leaded God to defend them. Psa 23:6 (KJV) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. If we are in love with God, we are not going to be surrounded by the things of this world. When we are in love with him our desire is like the one that the psalmist has: Dwell eternally in the house of God. To do this, it´s necessary to be different among the world´s people. It´s necessary to be salient in everything that we do. 1Pe 2:12 (KJV) Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Now, I ask to you: Are you truly different from others? Because in where we are, the people need to note that we are no like the rest of the people. That we do not speak like the rest. That we do not have the same customs or traditions, like the rest, like this world. We have to be different and look like we are, but if others catalog us like the rest of the people we need to take out the world from our hearts. We need to take it out from our inside, because when we accepted Jesus we take out ourselves from this world. We need to be the light in the place where we are, and the time doesn’t matter. We need to be like Joseph, like Daniel, like many other people that mention the Bible, those who leave their good mark in others, in this world. Are we showing our testimony of non-earth´s dwellers? Are we making the difference among the rest of the people? If we are not doing this, today is the time of begin to be and do the difference. Rev 11:10 (KJV) And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. Rev 17:2 (KJV) With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. Rev 13:7-8 (KJV) (7)And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. (8)And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Rev 13:14 (KJV) And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

There are a lot of facts that the Bible describes about the earth´s dwellers, wishing never be part of this group. We need to get closer from the Lord and ask him: Where you dwell? So we can prepare ourselves and trust that we are going to get out from here. And nothing is going to stop us. Joh 1:38 (KJV) Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? Today we need to focus on this question to the Lord: Where you dwell? So we can be eternally with him. We need to take special care of our heart and watch if this have roots in the world´s things. Joh 14:1-2 (KJV) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (2) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Here is where we hate to wish to live eternally. Psa 15:1-2 (KJV) A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? (2) He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Now, we can ask to ourselves: Are we walking on integrity and doing justice? , Are we talking truth from the heart? Because, if we are doing this, we are going to the place where the Lord live. Mat 8:19-20 (KJV) And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. (20) And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. The difference between this verses and John 1:35-39 described in the beginning of this study, resides in the intention of the heart, which was used to ask their question to the Lord. In this quote we can note that Jesus do not reveal the place where he dwelled. But, there were others, the disciples, which they were leaded by him to that special place. And they did not wanted to leave them, never. Also, we can note that the Lord says that “hath not where to lay his head”. He was saying that he was not from this earth. We need to look for that special place, and dwell eternally with him. Being careful of fall into a religious life. We need to dwell in his presence with the subject of worship him eternally. Do not let your heart fall in love with this world and his stuff. Psa 91:1-2 (KJV) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (2) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Are we wishing to dwell in His secret place? If we are wishing that: Today, are we living in the proper way to accomplish that in the future? If we really love him, doesn’t matter the things that we need to leave to be pleasant before His presence. And live in eternal love with Him.
