Gethsemane (II) 4th Communion Service Pastor Gabriel Andrade Guatemala, July 2nd Year of Abundance
Matthew 26:39 (NIV) Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” This verse says that every time we pass through a difficult situation, the Lord is already ahead of us and has a defined plan for our life. The Lord spoke to His Father: the merciful Father that was revealed by the Son to humanity to adopt as their Father. All of those who are able to call God Father is because they believe that are His sons and daughters; because he decided of coming to this Word and went to Jerusalem to die for us at the Calvary’s Cross. Now well we also have the calling to die to ourselves: at the Gethsemane, which means olives press, the Lord knew the time that was about to happen in His life, the sufferings that He had to live and at the end die, but He was not afraid of death, because he had fulfilled the Father’s commands. We all suffer, and we wish that any difficult moment would pass by quickly and won´t suffer, but differently as our Lord who put His will aside to make the will of the Father. For us this is not easy, because implies not to do what we want. If we could understand that God has a plan for each and every one of us even before being in our mother’s womb, so we will definitely abandon our own will in the perfect will of God for us. Hebrews 10:10 (KJV) As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. As the Body of Christ, we received grace to redeem our will to the Father, but we must identify the things we have to left and stop being ourselves so He would live in us. The Lord always made His Father will, even His words were given by Him; He delivered His soul and body completely. This is why when we deliver ourselves to the Lord we change our way of thinking and acting, but it is difficult to deliver our will, but not for the Lord who delivered it completely so we could to this in the same way. 1 Peter 4:1 (ESV) Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin… This verse indicates that we must be armed, in other words prepared to tumble any kind of argument against the true knowledge of God. It is necessary that we have the same feeling Christ felt, so while we release ourselves we get more from Him. A test is a bridge that takes us to a different place in which we are, it is designed to hold our weight and when we finish crossing it we will understand that we were strengthen, so we are not the same person and be transformed in to men and women of fortress. Now well, we know we are in the accomplishment of our proclamation of abundance, we must go through a process of suffering before getting what God has for us. Got allows to go through difficult circumstances but the recognition of the truth and speak the Word, it ministers life and we will be victorious. The passing of a bridge is something temporary, in fact life itself is a bridge that will take us to our final destination that is being with Christ, all these bridges are passable because He already passed them by.

Gethsemane (II) 4th Communion Service Pastor Gabriel Andrade Guatemala, July 2nd Year of Abundance
The Lord Jesus Christ cried three times at the Gethsemane so by the time of the cup of suffering will be removed by Him. Revelation 3:10 (ESV) Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. The Lord says in His word that He will keep us away in the time of test, because He is good and His mercies last forever. The second time the Lord prayed, according to Matthew 26:42 (TLA) said that if he had to pass through this suffering, He was willing to obey. The time that we are living, we have gone through many tests, but at the end we see the promise of abundance fulfilled in our lives, as it happened with Joseph, who dreamt about abundance but in order for this to come he had to live different situations in which the Lord tested his faith. There was a third prayer with the same words, as Paul the Apostle because he also passed by a suffering stage and prayed three times so the Lord will remove the sting from the enemy, as we read in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 (ESV). We are planted in a house where there is revelation of the Word which has a price, in the case of Paul the Apostle the sting was slapping him. The solution from God was to had enough of His grace to overcome the sting. Sometimes, in the middle of a test we feel like dying, but the Lord can remove our suffering, according to Psalm 39:10 ESV, Psalm 39:11 BNC. Psalm 119:22 (ESV) Take away from me scorn and contempt, for I have kept your testimonies. The shame means dishonor or public shame; some of us had happened that there was no economic supply and consequently we stop paying our bills and we might got them cut down, this is a shame, but God removes the shame from our life. Isaiah 53:5 (ESV) But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. If we are sons and daughters, we will also inherit from the Lord, this is why all suffering and shame was take to the Calvary’s cross so we do not suffer. 2 Corinthians 12:7 (ESV) So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. Those that in some point have a high self-stem up to the point that it becomes pride, they will have a special treatment with God because He is a specialist in making them see their real condition and put them in their place; He won’t let them see lower than what they are but not more either. 2 Corinthians 12:10 (ESV) For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Gethsemane (II) 4th Communion Service Pastor Gabriel Andrade Guatemala, July 2nd Year of Abundance
Insults and persecutions are not going to be taken into account if they are cause by Christ. We all know that everything has a purpose from God. 2 Samuel 15:30 (ESV) But David went up the ascent of the Mount of Olives, weeping as he went, barefoot and with his head covered. And all the people who were with him covered their heads, and they went up, weeping as they went. David had to go through his own Gethsemane; when his own son persecuted him. This is an example of abuse from a son to his father, David left his house and let the throne to be persecuted by his own son. Today, a father won’t let this happen but David, left everything not to fight Absalom. Now well, children won’t get their blessing if they fight their parents, we as parents can pray for a son or daughter that is in this condition and always remember that there are greater victories of God to us. Matthew 21:1-3 (ESV) Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.” They Lord already knew Gethsemane because He prayed there; for us the Gethsemane will be the place in which we will receive the word that will be fulfilled in our life. Matthew 24:3-5 (ESV) 3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” 4 And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. At the Mount of Olives there is revelations of the signs of His return and the end of this century, this is why we must be attentive of the safest prophetic Word. Matthew 26:30-32 (ESV) 30 And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 31 Then Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away because of me this night. For it is written, ‘I WILL STRIKE THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP OF THE FLOCK WILL BE SCATTERED.’ 32 But after I am raised up, I will go before you to Galilee.” During and after the test we will be able to sing praise to the Lord, because we know His power and His grace; and that we won’t be left alone at difficult times. Zachariah 14:4 (ESV) On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. In the place there was humiliation, there will be our vindication; the bridge that takes us to victory.

Revelation 19:11-13, 16 (ESV) 11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. Those that follow the Lord are called chosen and faithful, if we go through the Gethsemane, one day we will be able to return with Him to the Mount of Olives. Luke 22:42-44 (ESV) 42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done. 43 And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Definitely we will have tests in our life, but if we surrender our will to the Lord in the middle of test, then the Lord will strengthen us and we will be approved and victorious.
