Participatory dialogues collected the concerns and suggestions of more than 2,200 Chileans abroad.
After bilateral negotiations, the tourist visa requirement for travel to Canada was eliminated. The website, ‘Chile va Contigo’ (Chile goes with you) was launched, with useful information for travelers. The implementation of the “Apostille Convention” began. The bill that regulates the vote of Chileans abroad was signed.

MILESTONES Physical Integration
In December, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay signed an agreement expressing their will to advance in physical infrastructure, through bi-oceanic corridors.
Convergence in Diversity
A Chilean initiative that promotes rapprochement between the Pacific Alliance and Mercosur.
Cuba In the context of the normalization of relations between Cuba and the U.S., Chile has worked to strengthen its ties with the Caribbean nation. In 2015, Foreign Minister Heraldo Munoz led a high-level visit to the island.
Europe and the U.S. The process of modernization of the Association Agreement with the European Union began. With the U.S., links were strengthened through programs with the states of California, Massachusetts and Washington.

Peace in Colombia During 2015, Chile continued to accompany the peace process in Colombia, which in recent months has shown encouraging progress. The Chilean Group of Friends for Peace in Colombia was also created.

Trade agreements were completed. The most recent one to come into force in 2015 was the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Thailand.

Countries signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Among its benefits, it will allow the entry of Chilean products into new markets. The agreement will be submitted for consideration by the National Congress in 2016.
