TRENDS FOR THE TWEEN YEARS
We all remember the tween years right?… not quite a kid, not quite a teen, just somewhere in the middle…mostly feeling desperately awkward and out of place.
Luckily for our tweens, the world is evolving, and tweendom is being embraced! These days, tweens are respected for their unique needs and celebrated in acknowledgement of the essence of this phase in life.
So, in that spirit, enjoy these pages of tween inspo. From bedroom design to the latest trends, we hope you find something that connects with the tweens in your life.
Our cover image features unique artwork by Laura Berger. It explores themes of inclusion, interconnectedness and empowerment. Laura focuses on ideas of family in a global community—whether that's through a collective ancestry or our shared relationships with nature and the unknown.
This wallpaper style is called Field and features layers of female forms, leaning against each other, gathered together, holding each other. "I'm interested in how the idea of settling into our basic shared human experience can serve as a base to inform our personal identities, choices, and roles in life," Laura says.
For us, it was the perfect foundation for a tween room, a depiction of endless support and safety to create a sanctuary for growth.
Paired with a sophisticated palette and natural materials, this is a room that will last well into the teen years and beyond.
