Advocacy
The MOA lobbies the legislature and administrative agencies in Lansing on political issues that affect how you deliver health care. The MOA works hard to ensure an osteopathic presence in developing Michigan’s health care policy.
MOA Student Events
Throughout the year, MOA hosts events and networking opportunities for students to connect with MOA D.O.s. MOA Student members have full access to these events which include: • The Annual Legislative luncheon • The Annual Meet Your MOA President luncheon • The MOA Spring Scientific Convention Student Program MOA student members also have the opportunity to receive the MOA Outstanding Graduating Senior Award. Given annually at commencement, this award goes to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence, public service, professional involvement and student leadership.

The MOA Student Liaison Committee is dedicated to communicating student needs and planning outstanding events to keep students in osteopathic programs across the state connected with the MOA and each other.
