This season sees a dynamic new mood descend on Mi Piaci, where classic European elegance, quality and craftsmanship is set off with a rebellious couture feel and grunge-luxe detailing. Our winter fashion pilgrimage took us to Milan, a city celebrated for centuries as the capital of fashion and culture. While the breathtaking architecture and ancient neighbourhoods lent a striking backdrop and the chilly paved streets provided our runway, it was the local Milanese youth that we drew our strongest inspiration from. Beyond the well-worn tourist trails and classic Italian culture, this generation have taken the celebrated style of the city and made it their own. From the backs of motorbikes we saw a daring and dynamic Milan with unexpected attitude and a rebellious sense of style - the perfect fit for the Mi Piaci Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.
